By the way....You can read more about my stamps here as well... https://crypto-stamps.com/

I have had this stamp image...loaded with 0.02 BTC exposing a BIP38 encrypted private key since 2017...and its still loaded!

Well, I have missed this piece...and its seriously interesting Sad a superb piece...
however the "private" designs/custom stamps/private issues I don't think are listed at least for now Sad

the only way to get listed in a stamp catalog in this case is to speak directly with the publisher... I have a particular variety of an italian stamp (very few pieces known) and the only way to see it listed in one of the main catalogs is happened with the direct contact of the publisher ...
Or another solution is to have a specific catalog for crypto-themed stamps...a pdf example was posted few weeks ago.

Thanks Bitbollo.....I made two of them...one I auctioned and the other I kept for my collection of course  Wink

Its loaded with both BTC and BTC cash and all other forked coins that came as it was loaded before Ausust 1st 2017.

So not only are they unique to being the very first but also to having all these forked BTC coins in them as well.  Wink

I will some day try and reach out to the catalogues and see what happens....not holding my breath though.

Yes Scott for sure just because these are "classic" UPU stamps and are classified like any other stamps used for real postage.

There are some local stamps catalogue that can list also private edition / overprinted locally etc ... Italian stamps catalogue most of the times are emitted by stamps Sellers so they can decide what to list as "extra/unofficial" Roll Eyes

Hopefully they will list our stamps someday  Wink  Mine was the very first ever in 2017

I wonder how many really know about that in the stamp world?  Cheesy

slowly but steadily increase the number of countries that issued their cryptostamp.

I can't wait for the first edition of the crypto-stamps catalogs to come out in paper format. I have a 1880 Yvert Teller catalog in my collection and after more than 100 years it seems to be more and more beautiful.
imagine in 100/150 years what impression this catalogue will make on stamp collectors....

Glad to hear the catalogues are taking these crypto stamps seriously as well.

I wonder if Scott is listing them or Stanley Gibbons. Anyone has access to their online catalogue could easily check.

Thanks for the newer pictures I have posted below as well.

So these are like miniature sheets with one stamp in the middle?

They are all sodl out on their site and not much information is given at all. Thanks regardless

That's right.

Many CS do not fit well with classic stamps due to large size/thickness/packaging.

Those one looks like regular stamps.

After several days, they finally arrived home.
3 700 were minted (3600?) which is a slight increase from previous version ( 3000 ex)
Anyway, far from the 150k from some post office

Thanks for sharing your Lichtenstain stamps....lovely Duck!  Cheesy

Do these also come with their own NFT's? I do not see any QR code for the public and private keys.

Or are those separate and inside the booklet?

QR code masked with a smalll piece of paper : did not yet understood, as you can scan them in a dedicated app, if this can impair the value of the stam should you sell it in the future.
But no pub or priv key. To be honest, no idea on which blockchain they are minted. Will dig that
Ive added some picture to make things clear : no booklet as it was for the  portuguese stamp but a single stamp on a paper sheet

Some news from our swiss friends.
Crypto stamps 3.0 will ba available on may 2nd.

https://crypto-stamp.post.ch/fr/cs3

V2.0 was about locarno festival . did not bought when i discovered some of them carry weird ideas.

V3 looks like more a milking cow : it is possible to buy individually each of them based on the ID.
Of course, if u r rich enough you can buy the whole serie
That's unfair to say the least. Will not buy.

Thanks for sharing this information...I am on the fence about these stamps to be honest.

Some at the upper end are pretty pricey as well...so collect the entire set will cost a pretty penny.

But I am sure there are collectors out there that will buy all versions to get the NFTs as well.

All ID set frm swiss V1 sold for around 60k €. Check it out by yourself at ricardo.ch.

Damn....thats a hefty price indeed...and who said NFT's were dead?

Way beyond my reach for sure...I might nibble on the lower value ones though

just to add to my stamp collection

yes they definitely look like milking cows Grin
13 different variations for the same version is truly jaw-dropping.
and the single stamp unless it is used with the whole sheet is not indistinguishable from other version so it's something impossible to be used as real stamps for postage service (but who will use a stamp sold for 500 USD for a real postage of 9 USD Roll Eyes ... well philatelic covers will arrive soon !)
token 13 only 50 pieces, how is it managed? does it not have a sale price?
