I now have a complete collection of OCS stamps (On Chain Store), of which there are only 500. None of these have been shipped and can still be claimed online and shipped to any address. There are only 3 red OCS stamps, so this will be a rare collection.
Not actually looking to sell, although every man has his price.
https://opensea.io/bundles/complete-set-of-ocs-stamps-unshippedHow the onchain shop (500 limited edition stamps) differentiates from the rest 149500 stamps? The physical stamp that you receive from the onchain shop (after filling the form with shipping address details) is the same as the rest of the physical stamps? Since you receive the digital token at the time of purchase, how the physical token looks like? (ie the right silver scratching area with the digital token is missing?)
For what I know the only difference is related the way you can buy the item and not the stamp itself. But lets see if Austrian postage will provide a special cover/physical support to stamps redeemed.
What is the difference between a stamp from physical shop and a stamp from onchain store?
@krogoth, nice chart. Again, had I known of the different colours, I would most definitely have bought a lot more than I did. But like you said, better to have the few than none at all. Seems my most efficient chance for a red would have been at under 100 orders.
Question for you philatelic guys. Do you think stamped stamps going to cost more than unstamped ones (mint)? I know it varies in the actual stamp world, my dad explained to me before that some stamps have a high mint population and some used ones are very rare.
I don't expect many people will be using their stamps to post stuff, and I got two stamped anyway, so those who bought like I did probably helped make the mint ones get more scarce heh.
All depends...like you said...how many are mint compared to how many stamped.
I prefer stamped to have been mailed not just stamped. In other words...gone thru postal system on an envelope. Those will be the rarest of all as most likely nobody has bought them to be used.
Also the first day covers will be rare as well.
AGREE!
Probably there are just few full cover used on first day.
