Something tells me that the new owner of that gold border will be using the 30 return policy over at ebay....those cards will be showing up here in a week or two, and much cheaper

Hey Guys! I am one of those Baseball guys from the Blowout forums. To update you on the print run on the Ginter X full size black cards (normal baseball card size). The print run is believed to be around 500 of each card. I opened 12 boxes and ended up with 6 regular black cards and 1 mini black card (less than 100 each). The average for 12 boxes should be around 4-5 of each card in the base set.

Regular Ginter (the white cards) have an unknown print run (probably a few thousand). The full sized white cards will be by far the most common.

I noticed some of you guys opening boxes. I would be willing to trade my crypto cards for some of your cards. I am keeping 1 for my personal collection.

Welcome to bitcointalk  Smiley Any particular cards you are looking for to trade on one of your X cards?

I concur that the print run for the black mini's is around 100 or a little less and around 500 for the full size from the ginter X .

I believe the mini's from the first run are S/P based on the boxes I am aware of that have been opened and the lack of mini's obtained.   I still am not sure on the silver glossy card yet.

Yesterday I opened up my first hobby box, and wanted to share this card that was in one of the packs:

Looks like these cards are actually from a 1880's A & G Cigarette pack.  https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/409362

Really cool card of August Belmont II (think Bellmont stakes).

What is a good way of organizing a collection of 25 cards or so that includes minis, regular size and 10x14.  I'm thinking in a top loader and then a ring book or similar.

It's the real tobacco card, inside of the sealed outer frame.  130 yr old relic in there.  These are some of the earliest known examples of sports trading cards.

Wow! i'm astonished.  What a great hobby.  Man that belongs in a museum.

What an awesome piece of history.  To clarify, you are saying this is a replica and not an actual item from long ago.

  Over-sized "Box Loader" Card

  • One over-sized box loader card included in each hobby box
  • Odds of finding #83 specifically: ~1:300 hobby boxes
  • Please post pictures of #83 if you have it

I don't think they make a box loader card of the #83 Cryptocurrency. At least, not according to the following Hobby Box product description on blowoutcards.com:

That's correct there are none.  You never know if something might show up that wasn't listed.  There is a rumour there might be a 1/1 wood stock of #83 out there
