Yeah, but then again... That's a SEALED mini 3-card pack with the #83 Gold Border on the TOP! The odds of that may be worth the money to a serious collector. (Maybe not today, but in 10 years?)

Wish I had the extra cash.

Chris

I"m surprised how many hot box silver glossies are showing up on ebay given the odds stated and how few border cards are showing up.

wheels, Bitcoin will keep gaining value as the Halving block reward drops every 4 years following the push towards mass adoption. He has until 2020 on that prediction, so lets see how it pans out.

Win/win for the rest of the world, one side it hits a mil the other i guess a billionaire eats his own shit.  Fun or funny either way

Wow, I can see these crypto cards getting more valuable once bitcoin and cryptocurrencies become more mainstream. Nobody expected for bitcoin to hit almost $20K just like nobody expected this vault card to hit almost $2.5k.
by the way I snagged that Red 5/5 mini crypto card. Its a beautiful card, just had to get. was not aware there was a red version, was surprised when I saw it.

Nice grab, but your comment about btc and $20k that was expected at some point and if you follow mcafee that saucy little fella needs a 50 timer from 20k to make sure he doesnt have to remove a rib or 2 to enjoy his last meal

The second edition minis are likely limited to less than 100 copies.

That would seem about right based on the total print run..

To add a little more info... I read that Topps purposefully holds back a percentage of cards (both common and rare) to use as replacements for any cards that may have been damaged upon arrival. For instance, one baseball card collector recently wrote on a forum that his friend received a 1/1 printing plate in 2017 which had a bad scratch across the surface. He sent it back and received a different 1/1 printing plate (from the same card) as a replacement. That means only 3 of those 4 printing plates made it into packs for the wild. Something to keep in mind when considering odds and rarity for the #83 Cryptocurrency card. Undecided

EDIT: In other words, some variations of the #83 Cryptocurrency card will be rarer than we think.

Regards,
Me

So to sum it up, there are 354,312 variations of this card.  Dam you topps  Cheesy
