You guys forget to mentioned one thing: Donaire get Inoue everything he can and broke his orbital bone with his left hook. Now, if in the rematch, I'm sure Inoue will have to think about that, it will be a mental barrier for him because he knows that maybe once he get caught it will be a KO. His chin is tough, but if Donaire touch it and broke his orbital bone then there is a chance that he can knock out or knock down Inoue. So I will give him a proverbial "punchers chance" to win if the rematch is going to be push through.

What can you say about the rematch, will Donaire be able to avenge his loss and win the fight, or we will see the same result in their first fight.
after watching their first match, it is hard to say. Inoue is really a tough fighter, even with Donaire's excellent performance recently I am still inclined to side with Inoue when it comes to winning. but then again fighters do improve. let's just see what Donaire will give us if they decided on a rematch.

fighters do improve and most of the time, it is how they prepare for the event. however, on this match, i am more on inoue. if this will happen, the underdog on this fight will be donaire. but maybe the gap of odds is not that wide.
but we dont know yet if this match will push thru now that donaire calls off the casimero fight. will inoue's camp accept the re-match even if donaire is ready for it? or they need someone to fight with donaire first?

There would be some improvement since they do already tested out on how Inoue fights which might really give some advantage but of course the team of Inoue wont really be just that confident on not
making those new combinations that haven't been seen before by Donaire which would really be surprising them.

Just like on what others been saying that I would like to see rather Casimero on facing the monster and whatever the outcome would be then the sequel between those losers
will be on next on line at least.

I don't underestimate Donaire but to know that he's isn't going any younger.

Donaire did manage to fought back to inoue but inoue can take punch several times and still like nothing happened. Maybe if ever there is a second match Donaire vs Inoue then Donaire will have a chance to win against Inoue. Donaire also have good skills in boxing and defeated many boxers. It would be very interesting fight if donaire can take more monster punches from Inoue then Donaire have a chance to win. Casimero is also looking to fight Inoue too.

Of course he has chance since he already know the opponents movement and skills. He can improve what he is lacking and pin point the weakness of his enemy. Donaire is a very flashy boxer that's why he can turn the table in a moment if ever he can land a pretty solid sharp punch on Inoue jaw. One thing I hate about Donaire and even Casimero are there arrogant attitude that's why I never support any of them despite of being a countryman.

I remember watching every game of Donaire back when I was a kid; it is sad to see him age but we all know it's inevitable!

During their first fight, the aggressiveness of Donaire can be clearly seen but his firepower was not enough to K.O. Inoue down. I'd still bet my money to Inoue just because of the fact that his tenacity and accuracy on his punches are on point. I do hope that Donaire learns from their first fight so he would be able to adapt well against his very strong opponent.

Donaire had a decent chance of beating Inoue in the first fight, it was actually him who is more aggressive in the first half of the fight, it's just that his power was not enough to KO Inoue. If we still remember, Inoue was hit many times with the signature punch of Donaire, Imagine if Inoue was not so mobile, we might see the same scenario on the Donaire vs Nordine Oubaali.

This is a fresh fight for Donaire as he came from a big win, though I believe he is still the underdog here, i think he will only be a slight underdog.
They both came from a big win as far as I know, Inoue won against Dasmarinas who are another Filipino boxer trying to dethroned Inoue but failed to do so. This is another attempt for Donaire and I do agree that their first match was a great fight it just that, Inoue over power Donaire. This is too early to talk but hopefully to see both of them again in one ring, this will be a great fight of the year for me aside from Manny.

Since Donaire vs Casimero fight is already off, and we heard a lot of rumors that Donaire will be fighting Inou.

What can you say about the rematch, will Donaire be able to avenge his loss and win the fight, or we will see the same result in their first fight.

Nonito Donaire - current holder of WBC World Bantam Title

Naoya Inoue- Current holder of WBA Super Bantam Title/IBF world Bantam Title.

I don't think he can just because he beat Oubaali and he inflicts some damage on Inoue, Donaire is fast but not as fast as Inoue his strength and speed may be back but he is fighting a fighter who is at the peak of his career and almost had a perfect form in the ring, I'm afraid that this could put Donaire in retirement, Inoue is a man in a mission now, Donaire's mission is almost over.

the first fight isn't a close fight. did inoue already said they will have a 2nd?

the first fight is clearly ruled by inoue. its not like the fight ended with UD. which is why its really good for donaire to fight someone among their weight class for him to be able to reach inoue. casimero however is canceled. i hope they can make negotiations again.
It wasnt a close one basing off on score cards. Source

" The bout was scored 117–109, 116–111, and 114-113 in favor of Inoue.[94]After the fight, Donaire and Inoue showed each other mutual respect, with Inoue lauding Donaire as "a true champion"

If Donaire havent able to make some score on earlier rounds or simply do throw punches then i can really see the chance.I would be longing on seeing Casimero vs Inoue instead and lets see
if those boastful words of casimero wont turn out to be a bluff. Cheesy

Both of them are fresh from their last fight, I'm quiet disappointed on how Donaire decided to cancel the fight with Casimero, he should prove to that guy who's the best and fight all out to shut the mouth of Casimero. Anyway, I don't think Inoue will accept the rematch that easily since he's a big star already and he ruled the match during his last fight with Donaire. Both of them are eager to win, but I'll go for Inoue this time, he's too good for Donaire.

If I were to put my money on either one of them, I might still go for Inoue, although I think the fight might go to any of them. Donaire has the chance just like in their previous fight, but Inoue will always have the upper hand. In their last match, Donaire really had victory within reach but he fell short of finishing blows that could have taken Inoue down. While I may bet for Inoue, as to who will prevail, it could go either way.
