I successfully uploaded my key to MIT's keyserver, but it's not taking my fingerprint. I'm new to GPG, but I think I've got the basics down. For example, I put the link to my key on MIT in my sig. Here's my fingerprint.

6662 DFF6 6813 DB72 B056  D580 1C01 D238 4D54 3737

Try:

6662DFF66813DB72B056D5801C01D2384D543737

I'll make it remove spaces.

You never made it remove spaces Wink

If you haven't signed in for 14 days, we'll prompt you if you still have your recovery key with a fairly stern notice. This should reduce the "I never wrote my recovery key down!" incidents.

TF, what do you think about a new feature for inputs? What if under the receive section had the option to generate a small vanity address. Like, no bigger than 4 characters. Something that would take a very minimal amount of computing power. People could be limited to how many they could generate per day/week/month. This would allow people to have vanity addresses without importing the private key, because as a shared wallet the coins are moved around and two people with the private key would not work. Tell me what you think about this. Also, maybe the option to delete or at least archive receiving addresses?
There are already usernames.

Gah, I suppose so.

Also TF, maybe you might want to add a check on the GPG fingerprint

For instance, I put in my fingerprint, but before it activates GPG, it asks me to decrypt a message so it knows I will be able to do this to login.

Good idea. GPG is supposed to be for advanced users only, but some safety proofing can't hurt.

If you're using Chrome or another browser that supports desktop notifications, you'll see a new option to enable it under Transactions. You'll receive a notification when you make or receive a transaction, even if you're in another window. No downloads or browser extensions are needed.

I saw this and got really excited.

It's been on and off for me for a while.

That's odd, we haven't had any downtime recently. Message me when it happens again.

It's not like the site was unreachable, but I do get the occasional eternally loading balances.
Pushed out a fix that should help with this issue. Please contact me when this happens and add a screenshot of your console (Ctrl+Shift+J on Chrome, Ctrl+Shift+K on Firefox).

Thanks!

Any chance of a feature to sweep private keys?
For now, I suggest using Brainwallet.org to sweep your private key into your inputs address:

Small enhancements:

You can lock the amounts field (for example, like BitArena) with the on-page payment buttons.

Improved UI on mobile devices.
