Just got off the phone with Metro.

Lady said they're looking into it and someone will call when it's been resolved.

i have had a uk cash withdrawal stuck in "requested" status since the 17th, i have contacted them multiple times, and each time they say it will be done, but then don't do it.

You perhaps need to give them some respect first.

thank you for that random comment,

that would certainly be an interesting business model for them, though not one that works with the public,

I was very nice with my messages, then in the last message from them a guy told me it would be done that night, and it didn't happen, and I was a bit more straight forward with my reply style,

I posted this because somebody asked for confirmation of uk withdrawals still happening.

Sorry about that, I fully intended to do them but was unable to due to a technical error with metro (yes it literally just says "Technical error").

I put in a call to them this morning (uk time), but I tried just now and it's still giving the same error.

My last GBP withdrawal went into my bank account on, I think, the 16th after waiting several days over the weekend. No idea what withdrawals have been like since then. Looking in IRC phantomcircuit claimed that the web banking interface to their GBP account wasn't working last night when he went to do a batch of withdrawals, so in theory no-one should've got any overnight.

Interesting, but not a huge delay atleast. Thank you for the post.

Nonetheless, if they've said they'd do it then it should've been done by now really..

Grin I propose a "give respect" button in the interface to speed things up.

I suggest choosing a bigger font and design for the button. Along the lines of R E S P E C T

Intersango GBP deposits are usually fast but its now been over 24hrs since I made my transfer  Huh  What happened to deposits being processes seven times a day  Huh

If you're waiting on a deposit there is something wrong with your specific transfer.

I have better things to do than review the entire SQL dump for bitcoinconsultancy.com

How about replying to my question about intersango withdrawals?

For your convienience, I'll post it again here:

Quote
Patrick what's happening with the withdrawals?

Are they down until the 26th to the 30th?

Or are they down now until the some time between the 26th and 30th?

It's between the 26th and the 30th.

Last withdrawal I made a month ago didn't go through for a good week or so until I contacted support and asked them about it.

Not sure what the state of withdrawals is at the moment though. I'd definitely like to find out though as I've got coins waiting for a buyer...

Contacted support and money cleared almost straight away.

I am also worried about leaving any BTC / GBP on this exchange.

Someone needs to confirm they have received withdrawals in their UK bank accounts from these guys in the last days or so before I can trust them ...

I hate to do this but....

No need to hate getting the truth out.

Much rather question authority than get scammed IMHO.

I really hope things do work out because Gox is not an option for me without a UK bank account. I don't want to pay wire fees etc.

I am not putting anything in there until this gets sorted out or something happens because the risk is immense.

If Bitcoinica got "hacked" how do we know that Intersango will not also get "pseudo-hacked" and we loose all our money as with the latter Huh

You're seeing it wrong. If you claim they were "pseudo-hacked" people will rightfully ask you for your evidence. As I see it it must be personal. Intersango was probably hacked, too. As often as it happened while they were in charge before it could happen yet another time. The only option is they must have fallen victim to a targeted attack against anything Bitcoinica (Consultancy) and Intersango. Someone wants to destroy them.
