Hype is dangerous and harmful for investors. A successful investment requires time and study of the project, a lot of people was left with a bunch of flies in their hands and money throwed in the bin

All people are lazy, everyone wants quick money, everyone wants to be told just where to invest money and get a 200% profit. But this does not happen. In crypto, you need to use your head to make money.
the true world of cryptocurrencies is indeed challenging with market prices that can change at any time, in the face of price movements and determine where investment should be based with caution and need smart thinking in order for you to succeed in investing and earning a lot of money.

The only way of getting the most out of investments is putting your money to use wisely, you don't have to go with the hype.  The ICO rating sites can be influenced therefore one shouldn't depend on them entirely, they might offer proper insights to a coin but make decisions based on your research and proper project inderstanding, otherwise the hype might be missleading and lead to unnecessary losses that could have been avoided

It's getting ridiculous here. People are now investing just because of the hype or just from watching the scores given by Icobench, ICOratings etc.

You're doing it wrong. You should look at the team and the experience they have, whether this project exists already (e.g we have Monaco, TenX, Centra, MoxyOne and many others) and none of them actually delivered 100% what they promised etc. so unless you really see the potentials on the project, you really shouldn't invest. Ignore the moon bullshit they are trying to feed you.

This is valid for both bounty hunters (because they are wasting their time) and ICO participants (wasting money).

The reason why there are a lot of people today in the market who are losing a huge amount of profit is because of the investors who are not well knowledgeable about cryptocurrency and they just invest immediately because of the hype.

True enough, the author is right. Do yourselves a favor and research the people behind the ICO you're about to invest to and the bounty campaign you're about to participate on. Eventually, if you just listened to you 'gut feeling', you'd be gutted out of time and effort with that kind of thinking.

ICO bench or ratings are the same as reading white paper or learning of the team background. These ICO ratings summarizes what ever you need to read and give the project a score. If it fails ,I don't think is the fault of the ICO ratings

Yes this is very true, I really agree with this topic, because
As far as money goes we have to do wisely and very well for us to be safe, but if we invest in ICO one thing is certain, "prepare for the worst and hope for the best", expect the best outcome of your investment all when is being prepared with options if it is the worst.

I agree with your perfectly. People dont longer care whether the ICO has a working project in place already or not. All they care about is whether the tokens are trading or not or whether the volumes are very high or not. This shouldnt be the case at all.

The number of "middle-hand" projects, such where you can invest a small amount of money, is reduced. The projects began to inflate their budgets and require a large initial contribution. So we have to look for any "shit" in the hope, that it will shoot.

It is not the fault of the ICO ratings website, rather then the people that is using the website. If you prefer to look at benchmark website firstly you must be clear that the benchmark website does not take money or having any under table business with ICO to provide them with higher rating on their websites. Buying on hype is most probably a past tense as the hype had already happened and if you go in at that time most probably you will not get any advantage but more risk.

It is true. The new marketing tactics for most ICO projects nowadays is to conduct  airdrop to create hype for the project. And this creates a false hype and fomo. Smiley Smiley

The real and good projects are being forgotten, those who are supplying real products.
This is the new era of investors where they really don't care on ICOs goal and vision. As long as they can profit.
They will invest and won't care at other standards as well.

You are right bro. Rating is a good hidden place of an ICO that doesn't have actually a future. Only because of influence they have the good rating but when it comes to perform the project to make it successful they don't have enough capability to make it.
This should also the thing the the bounty campaign should learn to stop investing the time for nothing.

Usually I read about the project, whitepaper. I look at the idea, what goals the developers set themselves. And the most interesting is how they will implement their ideas. Of course, the composition of the team is also important. Do team members have experience in similar projects? I also prefer the project, which already has a finished product.

Yes, I completely agree with you, there are people who do not study at all trusting scammers or false information that are not verified.
The problem is that the crypto currency has become very popular and affordable, so people without knowledge of crypto currency often come across tricks of scammers.

Personally, I always at first helped ratings sites icobench and icoratings. But they only help with the initial choice, then you need to study the information about the project yourself.

Rating sites help to keep track of new ICO and look at a brief description of the project. But in order to invest, you need to carefully analyze the project.
