Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

Why don't you consider other good alts too. 25% in LTC seems too much for me.I would have taken 10% from it and would invest in some other good altcoins like Monero, Electroneum, Cardano.

i think investing all saving in trading is not good idea. because in trading has up and downs so you have to take step very carefully. all the money investing in bit coin is not good. you have to invest few amount of money in trading it is good idea. but total money investing is not good. for that reason i would like to explain you you have to few amount of money only in trading.

I agree, it would be too risky, and 5-10 years is such a long time. For cryptocurrency investors, long term investment only lasts around 1-3 years, but not that much. I mean, who know what would happen in the cryptocurrency market within that ten year period, it is too far off to see and gauge. But, in terms of the percentage of investment, I would choose to invest 50% in bitcoin, 30 % in strong altcoins like Eth, LTC, Waves, and Dash, and 20% for short term investments like new  and up-coming altcoins.

I can only agree with you. First of all DO NOT invest 100% of your saving.. few years ago noone would ever dream of btc almost hitting 20k .. and then dropped almost to half. And also keep something for short term investment. 2018 is full of interesting projects, roadmaps and some skyrocketing cryptos. Wish u best of luck

If you want to invest your savings , you have to invest them in a good way not in a bad way, try to help other people

Do not think always about yourself!!!
There will be no risk in investing money into bitcoin because this is bitcoin convention from start its prices are continuously going up and down and this is really a good thing for the investors as well so rather than going for other coins invest 90% into bitcoin and other 10 percent in your pocket so that you can spend it in time of need and there is no risk in investing into bitcoin as compared to other alts it is not going much down.

I don't recommend you to invest all your saving in cyptos as no one can guarantee that there won't be a great bump some day. The price of all cryptos received great pumps in year 2017 and I won't be surprise for one day the price to drop in half.

You shold know and understand that it is very risky way of investing. But if you are ready to loose everething you could make good profit with crypto which did you mention.

It is true because it has a high risk but if the price goes up you will have a high risk to get rich.
There is no risk when the prices go up, rather that is a chance of getting rich and if you are hooding bitcoin den its prices are going up, you should sell off some portion to enjoy the profit. As far as investing all savings is concerned, if you are investing into altcoins or gold, then there is a risk but if the coin is bitcoin, you should not take any stress. The more you invest here the more chances you have of getting rich.
There are two ways of thinking here. One is you don’t need to invest all your income in bitcoins. Reason is, you can’t put all your eggs in one basket. It may be drowned if you come across a loss. So only invest that much amount that is enough for you to loss, in the worst situation. Second way is, you have invest some for the growing of income and some for the emergency cases.

Personally I don't want to invest all of my saving because is very risky. My suggestion If you want to invest all of your saving, make sure you think many times before you decide. Because in investment there are change the result is good or bad.. Remember this is saving, so make sure you can easily get it once you need it in emergency purposes.
Totally agree with the mate. that its not good decision to invest all your money because its too risky while no one know about the result of their investment. You should save some money while do some investment also and i also want to decide you that don't do invest your all money in one place.

yes you are very smart to share all the assets you have for some of the coins, but if you only play 3 coins I think it is still lacking to get a lot of profit we can divide 40% for ICO because ICO is so much so for the allocation of 1% have coin ICO 40, by following ICO we can get very much benefit.
I consider it good thinking to invest your savings in the trading to have extra income from the market as if you are doing side job and you have enough saving which can be invested in the trading to earn more for your future but it depends on the amount of saving you can afford to invest. It will be advisable to invest at least 70% of your savings and the remaining may be kept for any urgent need.

My opinion is better you save your money on Bitcoin child. Namely Bitcoin Gold, which I think the price can be like Bitcoin Cash. Because Bitcoin Gold has been well tested from the beginning.

50% hold long term , 25% ICO , 25% trading , that's how i use my assets . is it fine ?
If you did research and assess well then you are good to go, as we always needed to remember that its about money management, if you are willing to put everything inside investment then you should have a good plan, always have alternatives just in case the first on didn't come up properly then you still have other options. long term holding is better than anything else so you are good choosing much bigger percentage of your investment..

It's a good thing, but are you sure if all three cryptcocurrencies are going to go up high, I mean if your profit will be worth the time you spent holding it, I think you do have a great chance at bitcoin.

No, don't do that. Investing all of your savings is very risky. Do not put your money in a single investment specially when you are not yet a professional one. It is important to know the details with what you invest.

You are a beginner and almost all people will suggest you invest a low amount and start with this because in trading there are ups and downs. When it will increase its rate and decrease no one can predict correctly so you have to wait for getting a small idea about it. In my opinion, this idea is just not good for you because if trading downs then you will lose all the money of you and you can not start a new deal because all of your money have gone. And if you getting knowledge of it and invest some of your money and learn how to deal then if you get lost then you can invest again with your another saved money. Day by day your skill will develop which is very important at trading. If you control yourself and keep calm then you can get a great online future.

You can do that if you have a savings money but you never invest with a one platform because if you invest your all savings in a one platform if those platform scam are show any problem and you can  lose your whole money so you must invest different platform for your future.
for long term holding he should put his coins in hardwallet, save backups, and sit still for the time given

Investating all saving is very risk. We down know what will come in 5 year laters. But, if you has decide to investing, my be you can invest in BTC more because some news Predicts that Bitcoin will continue to rise in the next few years.I my opinion, Maybe you should rethink to invest that all for the long term because it not predictable. I see cryptocurrency good for short.

Investing all your savings can never be a good idea, crypto world has ups and downs.
It’s not better to invest all your money and if you want to invest your all money than I will suggest you not to invest your all money in one project but you need to invest in some different project so that you can recover any loss if you can face and also you need to save some of your money for your daily need.
