Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

Though you diversified your investments into putting them to different coins, risking all of your savings might be risky. Considering that the prices are low, this may be the opportunity that you are hoping for especially that etherum has shown tremendous results from these past weeks. Now, you nust understand the repercussions of your decision since all of your savings should be the money that you are willing to lose.

I read some articles that people are starting to lose their minds since they invested all of their money for bitcoin and the prices suddenly decreased. You should be ready for any increase/decrease on its price and you should also consider on when you should cash them out.

If you really understand the market movements and have the proper investment, investing all your savings is a very reasonable investment. I hope you will succeed with your goal in the new year 2018. Always calm and study the factors before deciding to invest.

I am a good English reader, too. But never a writer. LOL. Since this was posted in October, I am one hundred percent sure that you have already made a good deal of profit. Since October, Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum have already made their prices more than triple. Although the values dipped a little, there is still a big gain. I am happy for you, mate.
Bitcoin($6K in october) increased its value 2-2.5X, ether($250 in october) 3X and litecoin($50-$60 in october) 5X.
If OP invested what he said he is going to he has literally tripled his money.
This is good proof that holding is always good idea  Smiley

I beg to disagree though. Because as for me, I am not the type who invests all my money into one single source of income; in this case, all of them are cryptocurrencies hence they all fall under one genus. Investing all your money in one type of business alone is the riskiest decision you would ever do because that is putting yourself in a make or break situation. You have to at least leave something for yourself just so you can be assured that you will be left with something regardless of the investment strategy you got yourself into. It is never late in a day to say that it is the riskiest of all to put all your eggs in one basket.

if you want to invest coin not only investment 3 coin that's it but investment in some coin up to more than 20 altcoin which price is still $ 1-5 that will make you get big advantage.
It is risky to invest in different altcoins, if I were them I would do that 50-20-20, that  is the easy way to earn without any hesitation and doubt since we all know that they were all the top 3 coins and they are worth your money, but if you wanna add, add the dogecoin since it is also a good coin.

Bro, investing all your savings in cryptocurrency is not a good idea,  because it's possible to lose it and you should somehow keep amount of money in case of an emergency.

it is better to reconsider your decision, if you invest all your money here it is very risky what else in the long run, because down and rising prices will not be stable, and for the long term it can not be predicted to be profitable what could be lost.

Never invest all of your saving, never invest more than you  can lose, all the important crypto people preach this yet there are always people who go in crypto blindly

If this guy has realized his idea, then all of his investments have been repulsed)

In such situations, you have to listen to your intuition.

for me to invest all the savings in crypto it is good, if you want what you want, it is also good can help earn money well. because seen bitcoin price in a long time the price is higher than the current price.
Investing is good but to invest all your savings is not a good idea you should put in mind that you need to invest what you can only afford to lose so if you will put every penny you have in investment and the result of your investment will turn out bad then you will not have extra money.

Well for me, the best option to invest is on bitcoin, and second can be on ethereum,  so for me it would be 70% bitcoin and 30% ethereum or it can goes to 75% bitcoin and 25% ethereum.
Thing that i want to suggest here is dont spend all your saving into an investment, i only suggest you spend about 50-60%.
And i would love to hear about your update on your crypto portfolio since you already make this topic about 2 months ago, hope we can get an update from you.

3 of your choices I think is good enough and trying to divide your danna is a good thing, and I think you have a pretty big profit now even though it's only been running for about 2 months.
