If I had previously turned the option to this type of investment, I, now, would be much more money than now. This is a very good way to make money.

I agree that ICO can be an excellent opportunity for prospective investments. This direction has already given the market of crypto and the world digital society successful technologies and opportunities for further development. But now you need to carefully choose the right project, because the number of scammers is quite large.

The investment in the ICO process isn't currently very reasonable. Because the unit price of the tokens invested in the ICO process falls unbelievably low on the entering of crypto exchange.

It has sense to invest your BTC into ICOs  only,  if you believe  that it will rise faster than BTC.  As we have declining market all the altcoins are struggling  and BTC is increasing it`s market share. Bitcoin is the safest investment at the moment but when the bulls arrive altcoins could potentially rise much faster than BTC , like x10 or even x100

making an investment in an ICO nonetheles have a chance so you need to take a look at them first and perform a little checking earlier than placing your cash in them. You need to search for an amazing ICO to put money into study their plan or whitepaper have a look at their avenue map.

ICOs are not profitable anymore since Q1 2018. So many ICOs price going down after main sale even when they hit hardcap. So i think it's a bad idea to join ICOs right now. But if you can good ICO with big bonus at pre sale, maybe you still have a chance to gain profit when they hit exchange. But still trading is more profitable than join ICOs.

Maybe you can paused or stop for moment to invest at ico or other investment project, when bitcoin have lower price and altcoin too, you can take moment to invest and buy altcoin or bitcoin, its not good time for buying ico project investment.
agree with you that now it is better for us to invest in projeck for a moment and start investing in btc which is experiencing a decline in prices and uga eth

Despite all the problems that now exist in the ICO process, I still believe that investing in such processes is still the most important thing that one can think of and how to help this world be realized.

I know this thread is old but the same rules hold true now. Don't invest more than you can afford to lose, DYOR and only invest in ICOs with an experienced and solid team behind them, quality ICO advisors (e.g. Don Chang who is currently an advisor for both the EdenChain and LINKCHAIN ICOs),and make sure that the ICO is actually solving a real problem for which blockchain will actually really help.

+1 LINKCHAIN ...here's their details if you're interested, pre-sale starting v soon:

If you already have cryptocurrency or Bitcoin, then it’s a good idea to invest in a credible ICO. But before you do that, it is necessary that you investigate the particular venture you’re interested in because not a lot of them have fruitful ending. During your research, make it a point to read through the whitepaper (an essential feature of any ICO) and also go through the roadmap to determine whether or not you can rely on the future of the ICO.

Scan the market and find the ICOs, you want to invest in. But I would recommend you to hold on and wait until these projects will be live on exchanges and than buy some of their coins. It is not unusual, that a lot of ICOs are dropping their price, when they are going live.
For this reason, projects can't raised soft cap  Grin, most projects overestimate price of their tokens in a negative market.

I advise you not to invest in anything. Just leave your bitcoins alone and wait for half a year.)

investing in projects ico has a considerable level of risk. This is because at the moment most ICO are still trying to lure investors and that is not necessarily able to succeed the projects they have. other than that it could be that a project ico only collects money and then runs away. this is very real because it has happened very often. plus that the majority of projects ico often fail because they don't reach the predetermined softcap and hardcap. There are all the blanket problems that exist, but there are also promising projects. therefore we must be able to choose as best we can, analyze existing projects and then make the best decisions.

Investing is also a good thing but you have to dig in and know more about the ICO you want to invest if risk is not great.

Leave a few bitcoins for a year, buy the top 10 for the rest, invest the 1/2 of the rest in ICO. This is the right decision.

Now it is difficult to find a good project for investment. Many projects do not bring profit. I think that this is due to the general negative situation in the crypto currency market.

if you are sure of the ICO project that you are going to invest in, I will support you, but you must first know the development of the ICO, analyze the project roadmap and whitepaper, if all is no new problem you can invest, but be careful because when this is a lot of ICOs that are scam

Don't invest in ICO at this time, the market is uncertain. there is no profit guarantee . if it's better to go to trade than invest. but if the market climate has changed, try to learn ico who will potentially advance in the future. or invest in ico that will launch at the end of the year or early next year. generally the market price is good, and it can give you a chance to make a profit.
