I've tried a bunch of times in the past months but I cannot access the chat from my machine. Using Ubuntu 14.04, no browsers go past the loading spinner (Firefox, Chromium/Chrome) even using a Windows VM, and a system upgrade yesterday did not help either. So far I've managed getting IRI releases in the forum but it is not catching up with the frequency of updates...

Could anyone post latest (0.9.14a I suppose) download link here? Thanks.

http://188.138.57.93/IRI-0.9.14.alpha.jar

Thanks lml.

Only the .jar has been released? The links for 0.9.9/0.9.11 zip packages don't work anymore, and running 0.9.14a jar within the latest full release I have (0.9.0) crashes with NullPointerException:

Code:
IRI 0.9.14.alpha
java.lang.NullPointerException
        at iri.Node.launch(Node.java:33)
        at iri.IRI.main(IRI.java:44)

        at iri.IRI.lambda$main$1(IRI.java:16)

try new jar file with http://188.138.57.93/IRI-0.9.13.zip
also replace nostalgia with : http://188.138.57.93/nostalgia.html

Edit /IRI-0.9.13.zip is not accessible anymore. I guess next version is going to be released soon

Increase liquidity is a good reason to move to another exchange.

I don't see that increased liquidity yet.

Will IOTA be on the InstantDEX?

Agree, where is the liquidity in Waves asset exchanges? It isn't even functional yet.  Huh

See? People suggest to change a well-working system for something that hasn't been finished yet...

Hi guys, sorry for being  slightly off topic, but I would like to ask, if JINN assets will be moved to Waves or will stay on NXT and then be traded on NXT 2.0
Thank you

Good question, I'd like to know status of JINN
So do I

I see no a reason to change anything.

I am happy to donate 5-10%, but I am a complete technophobe and an old man next to most of you. I tried once to run the test client to help test, but failed to get it working.

When the final GUI is out and idiot-proof I'll happily donate, but I am wary of trying again and using my seed at this point.

I presume that's quite close now anyway?

Thanks a bunch sir. As I figured something was out of date in the config files from 0.9.0 (nodes needed the udp:// prefix).

Claimed and donated 10%.

Thanks again, but since the server doesn't start I cannot use the new GUI either. Probably configuration files changed in the most recent versions.

@CfB - for the next release, please upload the whole package.

I think we should just make 10% mandate donation for every claim when claiming. It is simple and fair and guarantees the amount for the foundation and deals. Then we don't need to worry about any uncertainty and can quickly move forward to work on the real world business adoption of iota.

This is a good idea. 7.5% will be enough this covers the foundation and big deal goals.

no it is the worst idea ever.
+1 You can´t steal 10% of everybodys coins, donation should by a free giveaway from everybody.

Well, if it's across the board it's not so much theft as a decrease in open supply.

Guys, this discussion is already too late. In the newest IRI version, you are asked what percentage of iotas you want to donate to the foundation upon claiming.

So it's voluntary
