Wouldn't be the first time. Remember the guy who used the EXAMPLE brainwallet phrase to store 50 BTC?

I think it took something like 9 seconds for him to go broke.

Can we get a clarification on the necessary security of the seed for address generation? I recall discussion earlier in the thread about generating a long string with diceware or something like that. An extra line on the collect page would be helpful here.

Another question. If I bought IOTA through both BTC and Jinn, would there be any trouble sending claiming IOTA from both the BTC address and the NXT account to the same address generated by the same secret seed?
