Your math is wrong. The original calculation is based on total coins on 1 Billion, whereas current coins are 2779.53 Trillion. Everyone's investment was increased proportionally when existing coins changed from 1B to 2779.53T. Also, the original amount invested in ICO was 1337 btc. You have many mistakes in your calculation. The biggest one is assuming that any of this means anything relative to current value.

following your logic you should buy waves, they are barely trading above their ICO price. its a fuckin bargain!

Hehe, wanna hear a story about a cryptocoin that sold 1 billion coins for 21 BTC and reached 100'000'000 USD marketcap? By the way, 1 BTC was worth 200 USD back those days.

Do you people have no understanding of how markets work? You cannot force people to sell if they don't want to, the world doesn't owe you any iota. If you want something that somebody has they are free to cite  any price they wish and if you don't like it, it's too bad for you.

During the ICO, IOTA was being purchased at 1,070,663 IOTA / BTC (1btc / 934btc raised)
Now current rates are 55Gi/btc or the amount of 24,127 IOTA / BTC old (55,000,000,000 / 2,779,531)

How many iota is 1GI? I'm trying to figure out the average trade price right now in satoshis.

1BTC per 100GI seems OK, but as said rather conservative.
I expect it to be the lower bound if the tangle-technology works (which it seems).
Insofar he's not right because he thinks(*) it's far overpriced.

*Actually he admittedly just says it because he's trying to get cheap tokens.

bids as low as 100Gi/BTC got filled
