I am not surprised you do not even comprehend the full level of your own incompetence.

Then I must be very lucky to be able to create 2 cryptocurrencies which were in TOP 5 on CMC.
Not lucky, just experienced scammer.

MIT Researchers found basic rookie mistakes, when giving their time for free. Iota cryptography was broken.

Really? Why then the researchers wrote in their report:

Quote
We emphasize that to produce a signature on a msg2, our attacks require Alice to sign an innocent-looking related message, msg1, of our choosing. This is a chosen message attack. We have not developed a known message attack.

and

Quote
...Madars Virza did an independent analysis to try to directly invert the hash function using algebraic techniques (which has not yet been successful, and is not included in the report).

?
I am not surprised you do not even comprehend the full level of your own incompetence.

Sigh.

You always find one or two sentences to quote of your critiques, thus hiding the 100 other sentences, one of which is by Bruce Schenier, god of crypto "In 2017, leaving your crypto algorithm vulnerable to differential cryptanalysis is a rookie mistake. It says that no one of any calibre analyzed their system, and that the odds that their fix makes the system secure is low".

You are a rookie, and should gtfo of crypto.

My call back in february was correct, your own hash function was not even worthy of my time to analyze, just like many others of any calibre react upon seeing it.

Can not be taken seriously.

Byteball ftw, simple secp256k1 with sha256, classic choice, world tested, best crypto. Iota embarrassement Cheesy

Hi,

I am very interested in this project. I really like the idea of it - but what bugs me is this thread.

So there are some guys who are "trying" to badmouth IOTA. Why would they?
Do they "hate" IOTA or "like" other projects more or is IOTA some sort of scam and they want to tell the community?

I can't tell if the arguments f.e. from SatoNatomato are valid or not and the answers of IOTA devs/founders, because I don't have the technical expertise.

What I am also asking myself is why are the devs/founders like iotatoken are even replying in a very emotional way to this stuff.

On top the first 4 minutes of this video are also a little bit strange for me.

This is no FUD/shill whatever post, I am just trying to find a good future investment. Thanks for any reply/discussion.
Listen to me, Ive got the technical expertise, read here in February I told them their self made hash function called Curl is weak and not worthy more of my time.

MIT Researchers found basic rookie mistakes, when giving their time for free. Iota cryptography was broken.

Double spends were possible even with the Coordinator present. Reasearchers told this and showed example code.

Then they get told by iota devs they are FUDing and their research is not a real problem... Not even a thanks.

Next time, the researchers/hackers will not be nice.

Iota is a scam, the devs are authoritarian pathological liars.

Iota crypto does not even meet rookie level according to cryptogod Bruce Scheiner.

Ouch, is that why you are inactive lately CfB? Healing your burn wounds?

https://medium.com/@neha/cryptographic-vulnerabilities-in-iota-9a6a9ddc4367

I tried to tell people, IOTA is a massive pile of shit. A scam if you will.

I've just come home after a long trip, today a blockchain hackathon starts in my hometown, so I'll post a reply to that blogpost in few days. Regarding wounds: no wounds, just wait for my reply. And buy popcorn in advance.  Grin

Ah the classic "show a big tire to compensate for small penis".

Yup.

PS: You sound much smarter these days  Cheesy
I do not doubt that you will resolve the Curl hasher issues and it will be a great contribution to computing. Serious and not sarcastic.

Coordinator still active, eh, still a toddler this IOTA? Does it even walk or you just put in on a tricycle for show?

This is how it looks now:

"One of the cryptographers we reached out to months ago to review Curl has disclosed that he is worried there might be a potential vulnerability in Curl"

"Therefore we have made the simple decision to temporarily switch Curl with Keccak (SHA-3) for cryptographic signing in IOTA. This is something we had contemplated previously as well, and is now put in motion. Our stellar developers have been tremendous at executing this in a secure and expedient manner. More details on the technical changes will follow in a document tomorrow."

Hm. I wonder if somebody hinted at your shitty Curl back in February in this same thread... oh right it was meCheesy

Coordinator still active, eh, still a toddler this IOTA? Does it even walk or you just put in on a tricycle for show? IOTA team said they would turn of Coordinator "end of July", oh my i t is even August now. What a shit show  Cheesy

Then you're entitled to a nice bug bounty!  Wink

Does that mean you are knowledgeable in the field of hash functions?
Very impressive, please reiterate what you were saying back then, and elaborate further!
I am sure lots of people would be awestruck to be enlightened by your profound  mathematical insight!

Comrades, I do not understand why this coin is so expensive even now and has such a high capitalization. Block explorer does not work. With  network problems. Why such demand?  Huh
Many retarded sheep looking to "invest" in anything.

I dont complain about the price, bought when it was $0.16 for 10BTC, sold at $0.26.

You are so cute.
