@UmerIdrees, you ask too many questions :-P
1st - 40% of prize pool
2nd - 30% of prize pool
3rd - 20% of prize pool
4th wins 10% of prize pool
How about 3 winners this time? 4th winning spot seems bit too much to me.  Tongue

1st - 50% of prize pool
2nd - 30% of prize pool
3rd - 20% of prize pool

Yeah having 3 winners is more reasonable, because if we have less than 10 members joining the pool then the prize amount of 10% for 4th winner will be less than the entry fee  Tongue We need 20+ members to join the pool to give atleast a 2x the entry fee for the 4th place.
So, let's go for 3 winners.
Well let's have it then.

Can we see some more users joining with us? I see posts from them but confirming would be nice. It's strange seeing all these users are very interested in gambling section but when asking to join in any paid event, they seem not interested :-P

Keep bumping it.

Cheers,

Edit:
While we wait for new faces, can we start sending the entry fees?

Normally we can see the evening matches on the weekend when it happens in India but here Only Friday got evening matches that the odd thing in this schedule.
The good thing about IPL being hosted in UAE is the fact that the time difference is only around 1 and a half hour which is why watching them live won't really be an issue for Indians.

How about 3 winners this time? 4th winning spot seems bit too much to me.  Tongue

I agree with you. 3 should do the trick since the 4th winner only received 10% of the pot which honestly is quite a small sum since we know that the pot size won't be huge or anything.

He should join as he is a cricket pundit in identifying great odds and wagging on it and i am impressed with his selection of games and the timing to cash out Wink.

Sounds great. Sign me up. I think we still have an entire month before IPL 2020 officially begins which is more than enough time for everyone to send the fees and register themselves in this mutual pool.
Added to the list.

I advise maintaining a spreadsheet here Royse in order to make it easier to follow the registered players. Am expecting 10+ players to join this pool.
I am keeping it on the above post and will put a link on the OP. I hope this should do. 10+ users will be nice.

Please all of you who are interested, response here.

There were some discussion about entry fees long ago and the summary are here:
Let's dot it!
I am cool with the amount and finally we could see the IPL in September, i thought they will cancel the tournament, will there be more drama in the coming months considering anyone could get affected Undecided.

and allow only one or two posts per week per person to curb signature spam?.
Unfortunately its not going to work for simple reasons, we have 4-6 games every week continuously.

@Royse777I am okay with the 0.001 BTC / $10

@JSRAW @Royse777 since last time it was free to join how about we keep it that way for this season too, and allow only one or two posts per week per person to curb signature spam?. Alternatively you’ll could consider up to $10 for the joining fee, but then again feel free to increase it if all are fine with it, as we’re yet dealing with the pandemic I’m not sure if people would wager more or less to join in the IPL pool.

There were some discussion about entry fees long ago and the summary are here:

Code:
Interested Users - Proposed Entry Fee
Royse777 - $20+
JSRAW - $5 to $20
akhjob - 15$ to 30$
SaShiRaJaVu - 0.001 BTC
RapTarX - 0.001 BTC
Haunebu - 0.001 to 0.002 BTC(Current price)
teosanru - $5-$10

Maybe we can fix it to $10 or 0.001 BTC (I am more into 0.001BTC) so that it's easy entry for everyone. I am not interested with a free entry in this year. We all know how it works and it's fairly recognized that we have cricket pools. It's important how may will join so to refresh everyone's mind I would like interested ones to confirm their spots. Once we will have decent numbers then I can post an address to send the fees and once the fees are sent then I will PM superbru link to join.

Let's dot it!

Aye......
@Royse777 let's finalize the pool fees etc, 45 days should be enough for everyone to discuss/agree on joining fees or other rules if necessary.

@JSRAW what were the fees last year round as I’m keen to participate, but I can’t really guarantee it if I’ll be able to participate this year due to covid ruining my income. However if it’s upto $10 I may just try to join in, but once again I’m sorry as I cannot commit anything at this stage, however I’ll definitely be watching your announcements out here.
Last time it was free to join but this time community decided that there should be some amount of fees so that we can avoid any kind of signature spam + bigger prize pool.

Fees still not fixed.

@JSRAW @Royse777 since last time it was free to join how about we keep it that way for this season too, and allow only one or two posts per week per person to curb signature spam?. Don't forget we have T-20 World cup as well. so 3 back to back tournament ( 2 IPL and T-20WC) seems overdose along with unnecessary bilateral series.

On another topic which is related to bilateral series, BCCI should do some brainstorming in this free time and try to work on some Tri or Quad series for ODI and T-20, instead of bilateral series.

The Sponsors are in favor of a longer IPL, with two additional teams and a total of 90 matches (each of the teams playing 18 matches). But the problem is that the existing franchises are against this idea. They argue that it may dilute the franchise value. The solution to this is to divide franchise fee from the two new teams between the 8 existing franchises. But then, the BCCI may not be very happy to part with $700-800 million.

Whether they like it or not, these are the facts that BCCI should take in to account:

1. IPL is not possible this year
2. Other cricket boards are in much worse state, when compared to the BCCI
3. Even other sports bodies in India don't have the sort of reserve funds that BCCI have access to.
