Neo team's presentations from their launch event on the 24th. Especially interesting Tuur Demeester's one from which I already posted some screenshots back then.

There's nothing of interest at that link.

I tried signing up twice on LMB, never got any verification emails. Tried the password reset tool, still nothing. Emailed their support, no reply.

Oh well, guess I won't be buying any of their shares then.

You can not buy shares from LMB-holdings.com directly, but from havelockinvestments.com, I think the issue with the e-mail verification is related to Gmail, try using a different address. It may be related to the security authentication certificate error we sometimes get when visiting the website. I'm sure they're working on it.

I bought shares directly from LMB Holdings twice in January and I use Gmail. Had no issue getting signed up.

Valid point, what e-mail service provider did you use?
my own server.  It's not my email service, support finally contacted me yesterday and approved my email manually.  I checked all spam and associated filters, but I never got the email from the system.  Several others have reported similar experiences.

I'm disappointed, because I wanted to increase my holdings, and I already own what I want on Havelock. So, because of this glitch, they missed out on selling 10K more shares, and I missed out on making a decent chunk of coin.

Same here, own server, getting no verification and I was manually activated

Window to buy remaining IPO shares from LMB-holdings closed on the 24th.
The problem was that with the new member function not working on lmb-holdings, no new people could get an account and buy shares before that deadline.  I know, because I tried, and tried contacting support, etc.  Nothing.  Deadline passed, and still several million shares not sold.

I know it's not a big deal, because they probably don't need the money, but still looks bad when you can't even sell shares for your company because of a stupid glitch on a website that goes unfixed for weeks.

That kind of thing doesn't instill a lot of confidence for a company that is supposedly specializing in digital payment systems.

I'm sure its an issue that is in the process of being resolved, at this current stage it is not very pertinent that it is resolved immediately, partially because you can no longer purchase shares there and only store them. The consumer facing website neo-bee.com has none of these issues and is working flawlessly as far as I am aware. I do agree however that things of this nature that regard security in any manner such as the SSL certificate should be fixed in a timely manner.

You right. But I am not so sure like you, that they are working on it, or that it is high in priority list. Because I was addressing this issue back in 1st December 2013, still nothing. 3 months.

Also there is a problem with SSL certificate ...

I suggest we start a NEOBEE price speculation thread. It will free this up from idle chatter and leave space for rational discussion and important announcements.

The trolls will follow the bait to there.

And we can trap them in crates and mail them to Abu Dhabi.

....

This could work...

Most traders have heard the statistics…”95% of traders lose money,” “Only 5% of traders can make a living at it,” or  ”Only 1% of traders make money.”

Trade much?

Lol. I'd say close to 100% of the people who invested in bitcoin-denouement securities lost money.  Through scams, exchange closures, scams, scams, and even a few goodhearted-but-grossly-unqualified issuers.

Invest much?

Re: Your NeoBee position -- What you're doing is called "trading," not "investing. Trading is profitable with outright scams when done right -- all you need is traders dumber then yourself, "greater fools." "

Trade much?   Wink (i had been waiting for that)

man, you are the goddamned devil.  Grin

Also I just saw that Andreas Antonopoulos tweeted that he is technical advisor to Neo & Bee.
That's very big news, IMO.  I, for one, have not been impressed by the public-facing web tech of N&B.  Having some big names like Antonopoulos attached to the behind-the-scenes tech adds some credibility.

Wow. This is great news! https://twitter.com/aantonop/status/439074263002128384

I see you're new around here. It was in an update a couple of months ago.

I've been around since the early announcement but didn't catch this small bit of information. I think many missed this and Neo didn't promote it enough. Anyways, if this info came in the December update, it only happened quite recently and I think it's news to a lot of people, especially new investors.

Also it's much better to hear it directly from the horses' mouth, a direct confirmation he's still involved.

Thus far, NeoBee had nothing but expenses.  It will take plenty of luck and plenty of time to become profitable.  Expecting divs anytime soon is unreasonable.

@Herp:  If the signals are right, flippers will buy back at a slight loss.  No cause for self-mutilation.

The reception was much better than expected with plenty of merchants signing up to use Neo pos devices, many not even interested in converting the earnings to euros.

As a bonus, due to a partnership, Neo effectively has dozens of locations throughout Cyprus allowing people to buy and sell Bitcoin.

Which part of my post do you disagree with, if any?

slight loss

You most likely don't understand how trading works.  The people who got out @.006 can buy back in now @~20% less, if they feel like it.  That's how traders make money.

It has been proven statistically that most traders end up losing while long term investors end up profiting.  http://vantagepointtrading.com/archives/7665
