Yes, I do agree that popularity and mainstream of bitcoin or generally cryptocurrencies are increasing and increasing as time pass by. Let's hope that it can affect the value positively as we do know that it entirely relies on its demand-supply as well as recognition of more powerful and influential entities.
Electronic money has been in the mainstream for a long time but the results of government intervention and negative news from the media have made it in the underworld. I do not know what changed in 2018, that would make the crypto different from the mainstream.

Exactly.There are still more months to go before this year ends and i believe cryptos will become mainstrean at the last quarter of this year just like the previous year.We should keep our faith in bitcoin and even in some good altcoins because surely they have their own time to shine and become mainstream in the whole crypto market. There are still more things to be considered in order to be the main streams this year. I think more years from now before it will make it happen. This is not a simple task to be done and not a joke to be made. This is a major decision for everybody.
There is no possibility of becoming into mainstream if still government won't give there support on crypto. Regularization and strict policy will give big help also for it as it become a basis of giving trust by investors, users and establishments open for room of crypto acceptance. When cryptocurrencies become mainstream it will be late for making good profit. Its better to buy before that, its best to buy in the beginning, but that privilege was for those who knew about bitcoin in 2010. Ethereum, litecoin, they are old cryptocurrencies, with high price but it can be higher I think. Now there are cryptocurrencies that worth less than dollar, why to not use that chance and buy some of them and wait 10 years, if we choose good ones we can become millionaires when crypto become mainstream.

I think it's a snowball effect, maybe 5-10 years ago not that convinced the advancement of crypto as it is today, but the fact that makes crypto continue to exist and continue to be in demand is the role of the market. the more volatile the market positively, there is a growing market demand. and that's where some old players will say 'already mainstream', but in my opinion it's normal.

I think bitcoin become mainstream is need more time. If we want more faster, government regulation needed. Many skceptical view about bitcoin right now, but I am believe bitcoin become mainstream currency in next 5 years
