but not all altcoin assets are safe. all full of risks like your deed. although some of the top market altcoins do carry less risk compared to newer exchange-listed altcoins that are getting hype with a high probability of falling.
most importantly, never advise anyone new to the crypto market to buy and invest in new altcoin assets. just focus on assets that are already on the market well.

bitcoin or altcoin are good investment portofolio , there are alot cryptocurreny have good utility and great ecosystem and so this project could growth massively in several months or year. With more han 2000 coins in market , we should strictly select them and pick only potential project that will give us profit in future. if we do this well , we will face less risk when buying altcoin.

our research will be important part for our existance in cryptocurrency market, if we didn't do this at all and only following sugesstion from other traders or investors be ready to lose our money someday. we will find the positive and negative side from every project and make comparation which is more profitable and have less risk.

It all depends on the alt coin.
I like to check if it has utility and uses. I like looking at BLOCK, ADA, VET, ALGO etc
Another coin like $BYG is very new but it has a function in Black Eye Galaxy as a decentralized NFT token. It could eventually make a lot of money and gains for someone.

for shitcoin that used for pumped and dumped scenario maybe avoid it will be better than hold it and wait till proftis 2x or even 3x. we didn't know in which project whales will involved, some of them do flash pump and then leave it. personally i am prefer project will strong fundamental that will build in some periode, utility and product will be main key.

hopefully this is the real reversal trend in cryptocurrency market. Most of coins today have greeny candle and maybe some traders will take profit in order to prevent dump. but so far there is no reason to affraid buying bitcoin or altcoin, we have several good news in market now especially about ETF. for long term, bitcoin or other crypto will give us huge profits so dont worry about correction , its normal in market cycle.
