Bitcoin prices have been in a free fall and dropped to a low of $5,860 a week ago.

It meant it dipped below $6k for the very first time since October 2017. Cumulatively, BTC has lost 70% of its value in 2018 and the peak of $20k on December 17 is just but a stat now.

Bitcoins will never die, bitcoins has been announced as dead so many times but they are only using it to manipulate the price since it was very profitable now a days.

Agree, it will not dead as we can see these days even from up and down price users are still active and continues supporting bitcoin. I am always believe that price of btc will go increase in time and still being lively in the market.

why You have to ask this: "Is Bitcoin Dead?". see that the price rose from $ 900 to $ 20,000, if the price had such a high increase that everyone celebrated a lot, then would not it be more natural the price fall a lot? why the hell do not many people think that it is possible and natural the price fall a lot? this is a very volatile market and this is expected to happen. Bitcoin is not dead because there are many people who use it and the fact that the price falls a lot is something normal.

there is still plenty of money to enter the crypto world

Actually this is the problem with most of the people here in crypto, after gaining from the bubble season of 2017 now blaming the good coin about their losses though they know that what brings them to failure is the attitude of being greedy, they don’t become contented when the price reached out $20,000 instead they want more growth continuously and now that the value drops drastically they cry for death as if bitcoin never been their bread and butter for long

Bitcoins will never die because the market price will be always increasing due to the market's volatility so it was better to invest as early as today while the market is dropping.

is it true that the price of bitcoin is dead? if it is true that bitcoin is dead, it means that bitcoin will no longer be able to rise and that means bitcoin is over, but I feel that this bitcoin is not dead but it is now dimming because the price is decreasing but that does not mean it will die, because someday it will gradually rise again .
if you think the price of bitcoin is dead then it shouldn't be around 6k+ right now, you would be able to call it dead if its price is zero and no volume like no trading happening which is far from happening if you look at the current state of bitcoin.

If you are asking this question you clearly don't know how the cryptocurrency market works, it would be best for you to not invest in it.

Yes you are right,  bitcoins price is based on demand and supply, that is the reason why you should always hold your coin every time the market prices are dropping in order to avoid losing a huge amount of investments.

only the person whose soul is disturbed that says bitcoin dies.
stop to spread the panic you are experiencing right now.

Well dropping 70% is not an indication of being dead, especially in a market that's as volatile as crypto. It can move upwards past 100 or 200% in days. This has been and probably will be an endless discussion of critics and supporters of bitcoin
It's almost a disservice to the crypto community to get this pessimism each time there is a slight drop in bitcoin price. We shouldn't expect price to always be in bullish trend. Corrections should come in from time to time.

If you compare previous year and this year the price has increased . Don't judge because bitcoin price has come down, it's a normal fluctuation. I hope by end of this year bitcoin price will reach.

If you think bitcoin is dead , don't invest but don't mis this opportunity to get cheaper bitcoin.  But bitcoin will die after few years I think because they have altcoins who are better now than bitcoin and one of them are replace to bitcoin. But I hope bitcoin will still alive.

Why would it be dead? the price is stable at the moment and i do not think that it can drop even more, it is more than good if you want to keep buying, but unless that you have more money to invest you are a little bit fucked in here, lets wait to see what happens

of course not, the price of bitcoin is fluctuating and the rising or falling prices are normal, so bitcoin will not die but will continue to persist and become more developed with technology that will also continue to grow

It can still grow back to normal after a few months just like what happened last year when the china banned all the ico's in their country but still bitcoins reached $19k dollars before the year ends.

Bitcoin is falling and falling. The media does not give him a chance to rise. After all, the price of bitcoin is influenced by demand. And thanks to news, people are afraid to invest in bitcoin. Until good news he does not rise.

do not worry about the falling price, you have to keep calm and not panic because bitcoin price will soon recover and have a high price again, so bitcoin will not die, be patient and wait
Yes exactly not to worry with this falling price because their will be the moment for btc price to increase. It will not die even value has no movement to increase it's price will climb soon. Holding to your assets is good while price is low.
