It will be dead when no one trades it anymore, looks like we're getting there

Not true, the trading activity couldnt be use to measure if BTC is dead or not. Basically trading activity will only stops when there is no quick swing gain which trader profitted from the movement anymore and it doesnt even matter if someone trades it or not.
The best measurement to know wether BTC is dead or not would be from the number of transaction occured each day and the transaction is getting higher day by day which is a sign that it is not dead yet but growing instead

this only if you think that bitcoin was born to be an instrument for investors only and not as a currency too, the latter should be more important , so as long as people use it, you cannot consider its death anyhow

Bitcoin is not dead  Grin

Its just on begining of his life

Bitcoin will never be dead in any decades and its not a beginning too because this is almost halving time but this is a good thing to us because we will

have good chance to stacks up more bitcoin and in right moment people will going to sell all of they got and get profit
And it will still alive until we are using them and it price will still or stable to the price that ok to the eyes of the users.

bitcoin will remain alive because bitcoin mining is still far and have not been exhausted until today probably still half
Yeah until they can mined and we use it, it will remain alive for a long time. This will be the future money and we will not using fiat money because of its risk. And also we need a easy transaction.

yes we dont know when bitcoin will be exhausted in the mines, probably around 10 years from now? or more? we dont know. yeah we hope bitcoin will become a world currency(because fiat money with no risk and have easy transaction) and at least bitcoin still have a high price because it will affect the bitcoin to last much longer Smiley

I`m sure it`ll become more of a money transmitter.

cause guess what, who wants to pay western union $45 dollar fees if you are doing some reasonable transactions.

I don't think you will be stronger if someone chops you he... hand off. Altcoins are constantly cutting into the Bitcoin share, so it may turn in the end that it will not be the much dreaded government intervention or prohibition that will put an end to Bitcoin but more robust alternatives...
Shitcoins have been trying to capture the market share of Bitcoin ever since 2011. So far, no one has been successful in doing that although they have managed to inflict some damage on Bitcoin. It might be too early to predict what will happen to BTX, but I strongly believe that in the end, it will turn out to be another Terracoin or Quark.

I guess, a killer coin should implement a decentralized exchange in its protocol (that would be a killer feature if done properly), have really fast confirmation times and cheap transactions (like those of Dogecoin) and not be dependent on any single entity for its support...

Bitcoin is alive and will rise of course.
When? Noone knows.
Strong hand will win.

Bitcoin is alive. There is no doubt about it. But its continued existence is threatened by a number of factors. Increased governmental interference and the new Altcoin (Gavincoin or BTX) invented by Gavin Andresen are some of the serious threats to the existence of Bitcoin. That said, if Bitcoin survives these threats, it will emerge much stronger than it was ever before. That which does not kill us, makes us stronger (Friedrich Nietzsche).

Though I don't see any such coming even close to that as of now

Bitcoin isn't likely to die soon on its own.  It is possible that the price will drop, an alternate digital currency will overtake it, or it will eventually collapse.  The Blockchain technology that Bitcoin is built on is likely to prosper on well after bitcoin as it can be applied to many other problems such as property ownership, drm, escrow, etc.

long as there is usage for Bitcoin, it will never die.
At worst, the price will drop a lot. But that will only hurt speculator and miner and not end consumer.
Thats right. It may lost some users because of the price dropping and some people only using bitcoin that why they said bitcoin is dead.

or create a new one.

If the pioneer of the crypto world, BTC, is dead, then there is no other point in creating a new one. If BTC dead, then it will create alot of havoc for the cryptoworld as well as to the other altcoin might suffer the same fate as well

long as there is usage for Bitcoin, it will never die.

Unfortunately most people measure BTC by its value and not its usagebility or perhaps the increasing of the blocksize which almost reach its 1mb / block limit. You can see that in speculations board that whenever the price got lower by few dollars there will be quite some people that are saying that it is dead and below is a good quote about BTC value though

Code:
Everytime bitcoin value goes up, people says its a bubble and everytime bitcoin value goes down, people says its dead
