I don't know why would somebody said something like that, Bitcoin is not dead. In fact I have a feeling that more and more users are embracing Bitcoin, at least in my community. And Bitcoin market is very vivid recently so Bitcoin is very much alive and can't just "die" or disappear over night.

That's true mate. In fact bitcoin is becoming more popular than ever.. I think bitcoin will be forever and will still keep going bigger.. and we are expecting to have more users on the future.
yes that is a fact that bitcoin is now already of the most popular currency of the world and hope that it will become more and more stable as time pass,  because people are investing their money in bitcoin continously.
Bitcoin still not so popular we are still few users of bitcoin.. because here in my country if i am talking about bitcoin with my friends and co-workers they didnt know about bitcoin so i think we are still just fewer but i hope we can get more impressions and more well known alternative payment methods so that more people will use bitcoin and more investors will come..
The reason is that this is a relatively new technology, but even for relatively new technology, Bitcoin is growing at an incredible rate, the number of users is growing every day, and big investors are considering investing in it. So, Bitcoin is far from dead.

Technology will always pave the way for new ideas. I think there is competition also emerging from the new digital coin that also may be hard to compete with in the future but did not die.. Bitcoin is not going to die.

Bitcoin is not going to die, because technology will always pave the way for new ideas. I think there is competition also emerging from the new digital coin that also may be hard to compete with in the future but did not die.
Well, there is no obvious connetion between you statement and argument. Technology might pave the way for something totally different from bitcoin and something that would kill it, don't you think? And my thought is that there will definitely come the time for btc death, because nothing lasts forever and everything in our world requires some additional support to exist. If people wouldn't need btc it won't be there anymore.

Only if bitcoin fails to adopt to the new technology and need. But bitcoin have solid devs and community support. So i think bitcoin will not die because of technological advancement. It may die because a new crypto is better but that there is no crypto better than bitcoin yet.
It's the community that makes it alive, in this business trust are more important than devs. Most of the coins has good devs but they lack trust..

Without good devs there can be no trust. If you do not trust the maker, you will not trust the product as well. Luckily, bitcoin has both. That is why the community trust bitcoins and that is why bitcoin will not die.

Without good developers there cannot be a good product. This should be rather straightforward and self-evident, and Bitcoin is no exception. Nevertheless, you don't actually need to trust the developers since Bitcoin is open-sourced while the source code is easily available for anyone to download and peek into, and you can check this code for hidden functionality yourself if you choose do. Or you can simply trust the existing consensus on this issue, just like the blockchain itself get trusted in a trustless network...

So just having good developers on board would suffice in most cases

I want to believe OP made the statement at a time when quite a number of people would have given up on Bitcoin and if i had been involved in this crypto world as at the time, I might have thought in the same direction but as at today I know a lot of people will agree that Bitcoin is very much alive and the existence has actually come to stay amongst us...

Saying that bitcoin is dead today, is like saying internet was going to disappear ten years ago. It's impossible now, it's not a matter of trend anymore. The beginning of the revolution is finished, we are into it. Then with the ethereum given more value to the blockchain... I only hope that the price will get to the 10000$ soon hahaha  Grin
Be prepared to wait for a long time. 10,000$ is so far from 735$. Smiley I do agree with you that it's not a matter of trend anymore. Bitcoin is something that we need now. Something that will continuously be in demand in the long run. What's depending on trend right now are altcoins. The coins get attention, people pump it up. Otherwise, the coin will just die. Bitcoin will always get the attention of the majority of users and that makes bitcoin far from becoming dead.

no, bitcoin is a digital currency that makes it easy for users of these reasons is enough to make bitcoin still prevail, but it also started many joined the bitcoin and invest. bitcoin itself was founded in 2009 and began experiencing the peak rise in 2013, it can be said that the decline is not too much let alone to an end.
Bitcoin is digital currency and we know that bitcoin is not easy to earned too but if you are pusueing your self to earn bitcoin then you can really make it from trading some people are telling that bitcoin is dying but why? because they don't really know what is the reason or what is bitcoin behind this things.

Massive price drop coming...

Everyday we are having at least a new coin coming up. Bitcoin has been around for quite some time and it has also gained considerable popularity. Its nature of transactions has made it to spread very quickly and I don't think it is going to die any soon. I believe 100% that it is here to stay and other coins will come and go leaving it to dominate the crypto-market.
that's right there's no reason that bitcoin will be dead we all know every single day theres a new investor in this crypto currency called bitcoin and every investor the price of bitcoin grows so fast that's why in the next 5 years i believed in bitcoin that it will be our first digital currency that will be primarily used in everyday life.
Maybe the right word is died since bitcoin has died before and has risen. It's us who make this alive and we are making great effort that resulted to current progress of bitcoin we see. It was not dead because it's so alive now, I reap the benefits of my trust with bitcoin so it's valuable to me.
I think we do not know what will happen in the future.. but i agree that bitcoin will not die because in my own reason that many people or holders or investors are forgot their wallet or lose their bitcoin and send in the wrong address so those bitcoin i think will never touch or even sell it to exchange site. so if many people are selling bitcoin that bitcoin going to die i think bitcoin will still have a value because of this..
And i think there someone investors will still believe that bitcoin will alive again back and he will buy more bitcoins to support bitcoin.

if some coins have a trusted devs then the coin may becoming success, trust is indeed important and so does with the devs, both of this may fulfill each other in order to make such a good combination so the project will gain its potential and people will see it,it's really better than having trust or good devs

I don't think so that those whales will support other crypto's unless they think that bitcoin will die soon. They will just shift into another project that they think they are going to become another whale for that crypto. As long as it is secured and the same characteristic that they can see with bitcoins character.

We pretty much don't know who are these whales for the most part, and how they got their massive stashes of bitcoins. We could guess that they mainly consist of two groups. Namely, the first group are early adopters, many of whom were just lucky to turn up in the right place at the right time when Bitcoin cost essentially nothing to mine. The second group consists of people who deliberately obtained bitcoins either directly with fiat, or mined them, when Bitcoin already got some traction...

And what are the whales going to do in case they think that Bitcoin will die soon will largely depend on which group the majority of them belongs to
