Poverty issues? I think this is too far. I think he create Bitcoin to solve the transaction issue and reduce the other costs relating to finance. Wealth is something everyone wants. But it seems they are suffering from the glamor of this crypto market covering their eyes.

Actually crypto was originated to find out the solutions to the problems cropped from the regularized/fiat currency which shaken the faith of the people when there hard earned money was under threat due to the distress of the economy of the various nations ,but now it has made its identity as a most powerful currency .At the time of the creation there was no such intention was involved that anyone wants to become rich ,but now when it is traded with full vigor the motive has changed.
Crypto is still a way to get wealthy if you invest in the right projects. It is like when the internet first came out with all the dot com companies. 95% of those companies didn't not pan out, but if you invested in companies like Amazon and Google that survived you would be rich. probably but it's actually depends on the situation of market to become rich with bitcoin and it depends as well if you have courage to risk everything such your property and etc. 'cause big amount of money is required to obtain massive profits as well on this kind of manner. bitcoin was not created to give you money, or solve any poverty issues! it is only created to act as a global payment system that is censorship resistant because it is decentralized.
the fact that bitcoin is a profitable investment is only a byproduct of that.

it can be. but that doesn't change the true reason for its creation in first place. unfortunately right now the altcoins are plagued with the pump and dump shitcoins disease which is newbies copy pasting other coins to their own project to make money and also big corporations (even banks) creating big centralized altcoins (like ETH and XRP) to make more money from gullible people.
I think blockchain and cryptocurrency were created to solve problems with finances and thanks to crypto you can improve your financial status.
In my opinion, Crypto can be a way to become Rich or millionaire because if you can manage when you invest in crypto you will be able to gain some income/profit and get more. But, you have to find the best way to do it.
It's a two way thing. You can turn to millionaire or become more worst than you were before crypto. If you came in during December 2017,by now you will be damn broke you can't pay your bills anymore if care isn't taken. But if you came in now, you're most likely to turn to millionaire when the bull run comes.
