Sure it is dangerous. But only in a sense that there is higher probability to lose money in a small period of time. Otherwise, most governments are afraid of it just because of lack of controlling ability.
The market is dangerous for naive people and those persons who is new in technologies. It is because of the scammers that trying to steal the money from the investors, miners... I was watching the live from YouTube and one of the Russian miners was crying while his BTC wallet initiated an outgoing transaction to unknown address. Also the hacker stoled the bank account information and some others wallets. That is really odd...
I believe that it is risky but it isn't actually dangerous if we know how to handle it. I believe if you are careful with your investments there are very less chances that you will find this industry as dangerous.
This industry is dangerous for impatient people and for those who do not like to analyze, the risk is still very important, since without it there will be no chance to earn extra money, but the danger will be increased.
The problem is not so much with cryptocurrencies, it's more with ICOs because there a lot of scams, I believe that the ban is by fear of the unknown and what it can lead to, I also believe that most countries will take regulations like Switzerland, having to subscribe an ICO as if it were a real company (with offices, real management, and tax contribution) although it distorts a little the meaning of cryptocurrencies I believe that they will benefit the market in the long term.

There are many reasons why people says crypto business dangerous, it is only beyond the person on how the way they manage and how the way they used. But danger thing in crypto business are very less when we compare to the total good contribution of crypto into community, and the more also in the development of world economy. Very much agree with you mate, cryptocurrency brought more good contributions to country's economy caused people involved in this community can have additional income for their own but still there is a risk factor to expect and that's a part of success.
My idea is that crypto is not dangerous, but crypto and crypto market is highly risky enough. Therefore I think it is prefer to use the word 'risky' rather than 'dangerous'. If you make investment on any field, then you have to take your own risk because of the owner of money is you. well i can not deny that there are dangerous parts in transferring cryptocurrencies. because all transcations are anonymous. blockchain is something that decentralized so noone can control the transactions and money transfers for illegal issues. but it is only a minor part of cryptocurrencies.
