I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here? Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?
I think he is not addicted to crypto investments and trading, he is addicted in making a lot of money and desperate to be rich. Crypto investment and trading has a lot of advantages or benefits if you know your limitations and do the right thing. Putting all your money in one investment is like risking your entire income.

Trading is like gambling but there is very less risk compared to gambling. You can loose money only if you invest your money blindly. I think many people get addicted to earn more money and it's normal. I have read many times here that invest only what you can afford to loose and it's a universal truth so if you don't follow it then you'll most likely end up loosing your hard earned money.

Suicide is committed not as an inference, but because of depression. But to depression can lead anything: from drugs and the breakup of love relationships to the banal loss of money. And the crypto currency is nothing to do with it.

Crypto is so fast and has so much gains it's close to gambling. But if you make your timeline (when to sell what) you don't have to check 10 times per day unless you are selling in the near future.

It can probably be an addication.... Well most likely anyway. It´s like working I guess. I f you really really really like the work you are doing then that means at some point that will be one of the only things that you will think about.
It is an addiction more for investors than for traders.

It is really hard to determine if it is unhealthy addiction or not.

I thought losing all your money in crtpyo trading was almost impossible because you can cash out whatever coins you have left to avoid this kind of a loss...am sure there is more to the story than whats in the public domain.

Of course, you are rewarded with dopamine and serotonin when your coins go up and you profit. It can ahve the opposite effect when they go down though. But in this market, it is hard really to loose too much money overall if you are careful and diversify and try not to sell at a loss. Only invest what you can afford to lose. Be careful if you have addictive personality with your risk:reward ratio.

Sometime crypto is a greedy thing for few specific trader. But I think you should take it normally.Control & emotion is the main fact in trading.Because when your emotion is uncontrolled than you loss money.

Looking at the prices of anything you are invested in, stocks or crypto or whatever, will release a ton of dopamine when they spike, so yes trading can be addictive. It affects different people in different ways though depending on their predisposition.

I think it does require some level of diligence and time but there should be a balance, you shouldn't invest more than you're willing to loose and it shouldn't be a do or die affair.

'Never invest money you can not afford to lose'
Crypto is not heroin, it will not addicted people to suicide. What makes addicted is personal bad habit itself, there some people very loves in gambling or trading, these both are very high risk even with high profit in short time. But honestly, playing trading in crypto or stock's are needed patience for win even ready to losing.
yeah, i'm agree with you
from post 1 just said about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading
and suddenly he talk about addiction
losing money and addiction is irrelevant
gambling is addiction but not crypto investments and trading
