Crypto is addiction, like other hobbies. Don't think that you can compare it with heroin, cause we all make our own decisions.
If you take crypto serious, you won't put all your money in it, cause it's a huge risk.

i don't think that it is cryptocurrency that causes such an addiction. Money does, no matter whether it is btc, usd, ehthereum or Mongoli tugric Smiley)) the loss of money may make a human go insane, but it all depends on personal attitude and system of values.

Trading should be supposed as a work. This should not bring you joy or frustration. This should bring you only money. If you have a lot of emotions, then you better do something else.

I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here? Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?

Really, as bad as that?
I think it is not an addiction to crypto that causes it but because of despair over the loss of all wealth. Seeing a promising crypto investment so people will think they can gain wealth by investing all their money without studying and considering the risks first.
I agree that crypto is a good investment opportunity but I never once used my money for it. I prefer to find crypto with bounty, If i get it, sometimes I hold first, sometimes I sell immediately.

This has everything to do with trading addiction, but little to do with crypto. If anyone reads history, especially in the US, they will see where the terms like Black Monday originates from. Previous stock crashes especially saw a lot of suicides. Basically these are traders who gamble on stocks, and then get caught up in the crash. I suppose the same can happen with crypto, but it is hard to believe anyone lost all his money in crypto trading. He must have invested in very bad, very poor cryptos that go bust.

It is sadly not uncommon for people to commit suicide over losing their money in shares etc. Maybe this guy just lost everything and thought there was no way out.

Regardless it is very sad, and I hope we don't start seeing this as a trend.

Sure some people get addicted to crypto. But I think the real addiction is not crypto itself but making money and/or losing money. It is probably very similar with gambling.
That's why we have to learn to not be emotionally impacted when we invest or trade cryptos.

Yes, real addiction does not come from crypto itself, it just comes from fear and greed. you are afraid to lose what you just made and you keep on checking the market. you are greedy and want to make more money, what you do is the same, you keep on checking pricese.

I think it all depends on how a person will earn a crypto currency. If he wants to gamble to win a lot of coins, then this can cause a serious dependency.

Yes because as you can see in cryptomarket you can gain almost double of your money in just one day. Thinking of it its like a gamble for anyone and we all know that gambling is addictive. We should set limits and strictly follow it so that the aforementioned tragedy would not happen again.

Yes, it is really takes time and you need focus on trading. In lost you should know how to handle your loss and learn to take profits and learn to set stop less. And also you need targets, when to sell or when to buy. You should learn something.

Just like other vices, crypto trading could also become an addiction especially when your investing tantamount money and effort in order to gain bigger profit. You would want to make it sure that is everything is not put to waste and you would update yourself from time to time.

It is obvious that the only way you can incur those excesses is when you are an ambitious and misinformed newbie, because as soon as one discovers the complexity of this business, and that profitability here is not as easy as many assumed, one learns the importance to acquire sufficient knowledge and technical skills to avoid large losses. Only through discipline, patience and persistence can a continuous profitability be achieved in this business, and that is something that greedy newbies are not willing to take on.

Yes its addicting to trade crypto , its when a person earns much money from it. And its like gambling to trade crpytos , most people do this over and over again until they had much profits to gain. The more profits in trading makes people addicted to it , they do it again and again. And most people getting rich in trading crypto.

He probably had a mental breakdown and not Addiction. Addiction is a different thing entirely.
I wonder why you think  trading may cause addiction to people...  Good traders need skills, patience and hardwork to consistently make successful trades. Maybe it is addictive to people who trade random altcoins and get lucky sometimes.

Yes, I can not live a day without trading. Sometimes I just need to look at the coins and make a small purchase. But most often I sit up late at night and trade coins. I'm really sick  Cry
