Ethereum is now one of the strongest coins at the market. If you compare bitcoin and ETH techs you'll find out that ETH is much better than bitcoin. This means that it is a very strong project and it has a good future.
Coin price is not a factor if the project is scam or not. You can see very expensive coins in scam projects. You can see ponzi schemes, money laundering coins, fake icos and such. You can't judge a coin by its price.
Of course Ethereum is not a scam. Developers made wrong moves in the past but it's still legit coin. If you don't like it you can always use original chain ETC.

Saying ETH is a scam shows that there are some paid guys in the forum that tries to spread fud about ETH, nothing else. They do this on purpose because they're being paid by their boss for blaming ETH.

Actually this is a marketing strategy used by latest Blockchain platform to boost their use cases and friendliness. You know smart contracts can also be built on the Bitcoin Blockchain. Ethereum is not a scam but we can say that they don't have very honest management. If you look at DAO case you'll see. Vitalik has too much power in making important decisions. Price may be overvalued but that doesn't mean it's a scam.
Ether is never a scam, most of the transaction which we are using is Basically on Ether and BTC.
