Yes, It is one of the most solid projects but 5 years is a lot for crypto markets. Check 2013 list on coinmarketcap, you will see lots of different coins that you don't know today. So things change, there might be newer technologies.

Actually ethereum is for long term and many coins rely on ethereum that you can invest that good for long term investments. Yes you use ledger and trezor to make your wallet safe. You can hodl it as long as you can but of course its depend on us how to manage our investment. I want to hold it for long term 5-10 years

I think that this is one of the best coins for long-term storage. But I'm not sure that I have the patience to wait for profits from this coin.
It's price was very high for investment few months ago but now it is free almost, and everybody know eth has big potential everytime so in my opinion ethereum is good investment for long term now.
I believe that this is so ! I keep Ethereum for a long time ! And it makes up a bigger percentage of my portfolio! And I'm not afraid of what is happening in the market today !

It is true that many ICO projects are in trouble, but they are not due to the lack of their potential, but because of the price panic on the market. Ethereum's potential is the same and is growing, so for a long term it is a very good investment.

well ethereum is good for long term and I think it's enough to hold for 5 years, you will not regret this altcoin and you can store it any hardware wallets.
