Facebook is not against Bitcoin but rather intends to avoid the situation of misleading its community members through its paid advertisement. Users of facebook can post crypto and Bitcoin related topics on facebook without any penalty.

I do think facebook has made an announcement regarding bitcoin ads and cryptocurrency alike. I think they have banned all ads regarding such items because it might lead to some sort of scam or something. I think that a lot of people find it toxic that they are bombarded with cryptocurrency ads.

The last time I checked, facebook had no restrictions. People make all manner of posts include those with nude content; they do not get banned? Do they? This shows that there would be no penalty for advertising bitcoin and blockchain. I think we can use facebook to promote cryptocurrencies.  That is a great platform,YH!

Facebook is not against Bitcoin but rather not allowing or creating the slots of ICO or crypto ads. The reason is that Facebook believes that most of its community members where misled to invest in fake or scam ICOs. However, you can make a personal post about cryptocurrency or ICOs or create cryptocurrency related pages and groups without being penalized.

Indeed, facebook not againts bitcoin or cryptocurrency, they already just lift ads ban. I think facebook ban crypto ads because many ICOs are scam and they want to protect their user.
I am believe any internet company will support cryptocurrency because cryptocurrency is a new technology and i am believe internet company will take advantages on their member who have crypto

Yes you right, facebook is trying not only to protect it users but also to protect the image of the platform so that it will not be known for crypto scam. Many people has been scam through facebook medium using cryptocurrency, and they know nothing about blockchain. All facebook users should be careful there's no site that offers free bitcoin and almost all the mining advert of facebook are all scam don't be a victim.

I thought facebook will make a cryptocurrency that supports facebook. I just do not know it legitimate. However, I think facebook is not against with bitcoin rather Mark Zuckerberg does not want to support ICO's specially that 98% of it are scam. He want to have safetiness his users and banning of ICO's at the wall will assure that no one will become victim of scam ICO, though we cannot judge every ico because some of it are real.

Facebook is a commercial platform. They wanted to ban cryptocurrency ads, but then they changed their minds.

They did not want to lose millions of dollars from the ads they received.
in the world of commerce nothing lasts forever, everything always changes, all businesses must aim for profit we all know that Facebook can run long because of the advantages in it, so if bitcoin is considered profitable for Facebook it can be ensured that it will always be supported and socialized, but if it is potentially detrimental then the nature of the business will speak differently namely refusing,

Facebook is not against Bitcoin. They have actually removed the ban of cryptocurrency ads. There are plenty of Facebook groups and pages related to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Facebook is completely loyal to its users, paying special attention to crypto and ICO projects. What can not be said about Twitter, which banned a huge number of participants bounty for PR projects. I think this topic should be raised for public discussion. Everyone has the freedom to choose what and where to publish.
I just heard that twitter suspend some account that promoting ICO, but there are people who just create account and not promote anything but get suspended too. I think their system read something that i don't know what it is but it is probably not because of crypto related account.

If facebook is against bitcoin, then at the very first place, it will not allow any forms of advertisement about cryptocurrencies or blockchain made by ICOs. Maybe, facebook will one of big companies that will be an adapter of bitcoin in the future.

I don't think so, Facebook won't hate or against Bitcoin, Facebook only fights spammers who use Facebook for ICO advertisements, most of them use other people's profile photos to create a new account, and this is indicated by Facebook will commit fraud. Facebook only against spammers, not Bitcoin.

I agree with what you say. Facebook is not against bitcoin or altcoin because when we post the status of introducing ICO, FB is not prohibited. Social networking sites like FB need users for their revenue. The ban on ICO ads seems to be the darkest path for their path.

No, Facebook is clearly not against Bitcoin, but something tells me that Mark, just like Durov, wants to release his coin.

I do not think Facebook is against Bitcoin. Because Facebook is a huge online platform. And Bitcoin has its own strong position in the crypto market. Despite all this, Facebook can not be against Bitcoin.

The purpose of social media organizations like Facebook is not to make publicity. It's too normal to be opposed. Because the purpose of people socializes on this platform. Many people have exaggerated the bounty event on facebook and twitter.

Managers of Facebook may think that it is not good for their image which they want to create. Of course they are making business to obtain profit and they also don't want to lose users and profits from ads. Actually, they are not against bitcoin and I think, they are against projects that are ICO's because of the laws implemented in the U.S.

I agree with this, in terms of secure public image Bitcoin is a very prone platform for anomalies and any technical related issues which may not be a good influence when it comes to public character for Facebook, which we all know is popular for very strict regulations which come up for a good flow of information and security is highly monitored, maybe it doesnt mean they dont really spread news about Bitcoin they against this.
