In my opinion, both are good. But if you must pick, i choose gold than bitcoin. Because gold is more popular than bitcoin and looking from the price, bitcoin also good though.
I think popular does not mean that will provide great benefits to you. look for potential investment, but if you think that gold is a potential investment that was not a problem

We cant really  blame other people on what are their choices among  the two hence we  have  different  perceptions on anything.  Gold is also a good investment  for long term as long you have the capability to invest on it as we all know that is very expensive to start off. Bitcoin have a  big  potential to make  decent profits on the long run.

I think Bitcoin has its advantages which make it better than gold. However, there is a problem here. People tend to trust something they can see and touch. What is bitcoin? In physical world it is just nothing. Numbers. We can't touch them. We can't smell them. Gold has been in this world for a very long time, so Bitcoin needs some time to be accepted as well.

You have a good point there. It's weird that people need to have something in their hands in order to say it has value. Nowadays where a lot people are using their bank card or their phone for completing transactions, they barely work with cash money anymore. Everything happens digitally where the balance in their bank accounts are just numbers. But still, they can't relate these two things....

To all the ones that praise Gold so much. How much  gold do you actually own? And where do you store it?

My guess is that you own nothing, so aren't you talking hypothetically?
I just have 0.5 gold bar in my storage. in fact, the gold is more valuable in the future, and according from a lot of coins are appearing in this time and make those people  just know that so easy for making the coin in this time, just need for renaming your own coin. and what about for mining a gold. not all of the people are be able for mine a gold.

No the gold is not better, its maybe more safe to invest in it but other than that its not better because making profit with gold takes ages and it also has no fun factor at all, with the bitcoin you can do so many things that makes it say nice to have it and not only for the profit at this moment!

It really depends on the usecase. Overall, bitcoin is more flexible, easy to trade and can be transferred without a big fuss (physically) about security. Some people like the idea of being able to hold what they own in their hands and secure it by non digital means. Personally I couldn't do without the ability to ttrade what I own.

sure...i secondly agree with you...flexibility and easy to trade and easy to transfer comes of btc than to gold...though as for me i trade btc...easy to use and its convinient..flexibility

gold is good for me and its work until now but now bitcoin can be a second choice to make investment because for today and for future, bitcoin have a good chance to grow and reach the high price, but how much the price is? only the time can answer and by the help of this community and many people which use bitcoin as receive and sending bitcoin.
Well, not everyone will do the same thing you do, honestly most of us here wants to invest gold but our resources would not allow to do so as we only have limited resources and no question gold is a better investment but for risk takers bitcoin will our way to be rich now.
If you are rich do not hesitate to invest in gold it is better investment which is the value is on rising, and if you can not afford gold choose bitcoin it is very easy to earn profit because there are many method that bitcoin offering to earn.

Am I the only one who finds the obverse highly ironic? Yes, bullion is definatelly heavier then Bitcoin, in fact, it is too heavy for the internet to carry!

Both are good but you need to atleast pick one , well if you are choosing gold than bitcoin we know that gold is more popular than bitcoin but you can make money once in gold not like bitcoin that you can earn there continuesly not gold right ? compare it mate.
because of continuous fluctuation choosing between the two i will rather choose btc still because we know the potential the reason most of us are here because we believe with this technology and we support that btc will grow and be successful in the near future.

True. Because of its popularity it will be easier to sell it even with just people. There are pawnshops too which are accepting gold and some are 24/7 when it is emergency you could get money anytime.
That is the present scenario, bitcoin will replace gold in very near future like you will be able to trade bitcoin with your neighbour. The returns we can get from bitcoin is definitely very bigger than what we could get from gold investments. Due to lack of bitcoin adoption, gold may seem handy, but in near future things will change bitcoin will start dominate.

Indeed most will select gold. because gold is much more gives you the assurance that have yet to be given by the bitcoin, but if you know the advantage of incredible bitcoin then I am sure you will switch to using bitcoin as a place of investment or another. Bitcoin not only provide benefits but also provides a solution for all of us

Gold is definitely "better" than bitcoin.

Both gold and bitcoin need a community that sees value in them,
but Bitcoin requires additional technology to work (the internet),
while gold doesn't.

I love both.
