there are positives and negatives to this, on one hand it will push the scammers away, which is good, on the other hand it would introduce a system which is no longer decentralized, automatically defeating the true purpose of ICO in the first place.

Completely agree with this statement.. there must be a happy medium to strike between weeding out all the scam projects out there and then keeping the awesome idea of ICOs alive in its current form where it allows a democratisation of who get to invest in companies that aren't of a traditional IPO size and maturity.

ICOs is one of the best things we have for the economy , people, and the progress of the world! ICOs give power to people with vision to bring ideas to light and other people to help come true! Think Steemit, Think Lykke, Thing SiaCoin, etc etc these ware ICOs, and this form of investment just started! Is the future and governments for another one time destroy humanity progress for their self fish interests, TAXES
Regulations is the only thing that Govs care, and I don't like the idea of regulations. This may give common people more effort to invest to ICOs but knowing that govs doing this just for the taxes I don't like it! 20% of ICO money will go to gov from now on. I don't like this fact  Angry

Bad, because governments will use it to get their foot in the door and regulate everything, one day soon you may need a licence to trade.

That's why we need to start using decentralised exchanges like Waves and Bitshares, and getting our money out using local bitcoin. Make it so they can't regulate anything.

It is also a good opportunity for small businesses which struggle to get loan from banks. In many countries only big and international operating companies get a loan for investment with fair conditions. In Europe you can see this in many southern states like Italy, Spain, Portugal etc. Same holds to many other countries in the world. ICOs fill a economical gap in my view. But they must be regulated.

ICO regulation is good for the economy growth of the country.it should not be banned.ICO is a very good investment for individuals.but it should be regulared

I think ICO regulation is good! Too many ICO scam!

That's not the reason ICO should regulate, But the uncontrollable market cap of cryptocurrency are inflating. The government is worried about this because it's really affecting the economy of an estate because people can invest freely without a tax. ICO regulation is good but the FUD around is very bad and dragging crypto price down.

The problem is that no one can set ICO in online business because they do not have an official office in their country, the Government can not manage the business that comes from other countries let alone can not arrange anything that happens in internet business. I do not think this is effective and the only solution is the establishment of an escrow made by the government legally.

If the regulation is made in a good way, it's a good point. The market is a mess right now, and everybody knows that the cryptocurrencies are way too volatile...

I think ICO Regulation is very good so there is no scam ICO and also no money laundry action. The regulated ICO will also increase the investor's confidence in the ICO project. And also can protecting investors from fraudulent acts.

SmartContracts for SmartContracts? With all regulations come corruption .... that's what I think.

More and more countries are planning to regulate ICOs. China, Canada, Russia,... I think this in an development nobody can stop. Do you think it is good or bad that ICOs will be more regulated in the near future? What positive and negative influences will it probably have?

I think there will be more investors like professional managed funds or even retirement funds which will invest into ICOs. The prices for ICOs will then become even more expensive and make it more difficult to make profits for small investors.
On the other hand, there must be a positive side in ICO regulations. There are lots of scammed ICOs and nobody could give a definite prediction which one is fake and which one is real. The the regulations, maybe the chances of becoming a scam will be reduced. ICO holders will now abide with the regulations and are careful with their projects.
I do agree with you in as much as this might seem like a setback, ICO regulations are all done in the best interest of protecting the investor from scam projects and to prevent people from committing fraudulent activities which was actually one of the reasons why the ban was put in place.

It is actually meant to be good thing. I mean just normal regulation, not ban. But it is definitely going to kill some people's desire to create more icos for sure.
I'm absolutely agree with you, but why it kill desire?
well I think that it will kill many upcoming ICOs which created out of thin air, with merely a whitepaper to raise funds. the regulation exist to prevent this, people think that it's a bad thing for the cryptoverse but it's not.
the government just trying to stop the money grabbing.
A. I understand your position. But then it is more about the desire of only those who do not want to make real efforts and are not initially ready to enter the market. But not all comers at all. This is something like the effect of an election or judicial deposit. So, on the whole, it is rather a plus for ICO market - it rises the trust level of it.

This is one step to make ico different. Because this regulation make ico create with difficult. But scamner is not easy. Ico Will create with different rule.
This would really be the the advantage on where ICO has been regulated already which would really be a new way on where investors and the project would really be monitored and scam would really be less likely to happen since its being regulated already.I would say this would really be on Good side but would really be very bad for some for sure specially on scamming intentions.

Making these decisions is not bad, but not good either. Those countries have put in place a ban on or restricting ICO projects in their country just because they fear that many investors will be trapped and lose a lot. What is the reason? That is, many ICO projects today are fraudulent and scam, they just set it up to make money of people, they do not care about development to the project. That is what they are worried about and have made decisions to adjust or ban ICO in their country. But these decisions could affect electronic money transactions in their home countries. This is just my personal opinion

It seems the ICO market has made the ecosystem of the cryptocurrency world get worse. But I do not think it made much like that, because this field also like Stock market, but the nature speculative really higher than Stock because the price of ICO tokens easily to control by someone.
It makes the ecosystem cryptocurrency worser, that could also happen but I think not all. As far as I can see, quite a few altcoins have become valuable and also potential growth after the end of the ICO project. As for the price of the ICO, what you say I agree with that idea. ICO prices are most likely to be controlled by an individual. Even when the ICO project ends, altcoin is listed on the trading floor, the "big whales" can also control the price of their own.
