If your family & friend is open to for new information then go for it.

If your family & friends isn't interested, then nah. It will be a waste of time

Yes the problem is that they want to make money out of it but they don't want to invest their fiat into it, as they find it risky in investing into digital currency, and the main reason is they are not tech savvy so it becomes difficult to explain them.

That's not so bad I guess. If you can then you can do fun things with them of the rich.
If you only lose money then it is a waste of time.

I have considered telling my family and some of my friends about Bitcoin but whenever I've tried, they fail to understand why it does have value and why it is extremely important specially in the current socioeconomic context.. they don't get it and see it as something really strange. Needless to say I wouldn't tell them to put any money on it. In a way it feels like im keeping something amazing to myself, but at the same time, I don't want to put people into the pressure of holding through rallies long term because most people aren't cut for that.

How to introduce Bitcoin to absolutely clueless people and is there even a point? Should we just let time pass and wait for them to naturally learn about it once it goes more mainstream?

It might sound like a Herculean task to explain the concept of bitcoins to other people but the truth is that it eventually pays off. I have talked to quite a good number of people about bitcoins and a few of them have responded positively. This makes it easier because I have people I can deal with locally. When I feel like selling bitcoins I first contact this people before I go online.

No, it's not a waste of time. But like the old saying goes, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink."

Initially if your friends or relatives feel it is useful and if they often ask you about bitcoin and you explaining them is not waste of time. You itself can understand who has willing to know and who doesn't. Based on knowing this try to teach them which will be more effective.

Yeah and there would be a scenario that they would hesitate at initial stage, but if you keep on repeating it than they might show some interest and start to learn more about bitcoins. They will not show any interest at initial stage for sure.

yes i also think the same . that is to teach anyone about btc is a tedious work .
and i also think it is totally useless to explain them .
the better way to explain them is to leave them to understand itself.
i had started to explain my many friends about it but all of them says that it us a way to make fool to any person .
they said that it is also like practical money and there is speed and fast way to earn btc without taking risk .
so i think. t is a useless work to tell about btc to any person .

Depends on what is the perception of your friends and family towards digital currency and new technology, if they are ready to accept the change then they would surely show their interest in adopting new technology.

Did people mention they where professional videogamers/online poker players to the masses?
The fact is most people will stare at you and nod there head, soon as you are out of ear shot or they are back at home the dismantling of you begins. If you do not want people all up in your business its best to just coast a long and not mention it.

Bitcoin is almost considered the same as telling folks you play Word of Warcraft, you get the same look.
Its also like telling co-worker you gamble, they will expect you to pay for drinks because they presume you win all the time.

Until the media shows love or we get a huge burst of people using it,would be careful who you mention it to.
Some associate it to dark interests and terrorism, especially older folks if they heard anything at all about it.

All I know is that I know nothing.
it is never a waste of time to spread the word about bitcoin to anybody.

because it is up to us to introduce bitcoin to others if we want to reach the mass adoption stage sooner. and who is better to start with than your friends and family .

Ofcourse it's not a waste of time, it's good to introduce bitcoin to the people around you, unaware of it's value and usage, i would do it when i get a chance to share it with my friends and family members.
