It's not a waste of time but you need to talk to friends who want to search for an investment opportunity or who are traders. Bitcoin is not for common users who just want to save money and spend it for their household expenses but it is for those who can take a risk.
I spoke to 2 friends who are brokers and they were interested in investing in bitcoins and one of them is already a bitcoin trader who constantly buys and sells bitcoins online.

In my case, they just interest to know more about bitcoin when I gave them proof that I really make money online. So hard to explain at first so need a clear output as a proof

yeah you right. same like my family. when i tell them about bitcoin and you can earn it online, my family hard to accept that, maybe because they scare for being scammed online.

I believe that once took place the change of generation, will be 'much more' easy to understand and use bitcoin for beginners because they use computers or smartphones already at  '6 years old.

However, they may not be interested in the currency at the young age and hence bitcoins need to be used by users above 13 years to understand the price fluctuations and not just randomly invest in it. My family members have bitcoin debit cards and it was me who introduced them to bitcoins.

No, this is what's needed, if they don't care about the concept show them what people have purchased with it, e.g. that Tesla car that was bought a few days back.

Telling our family about bitcoins is not a bad idea, as they would never make fun of you if anything wrong happens.
I think sharing with friends is bad idea though sometimes, because they make fun of you when things go wrong and they do not like it.
Sometimes it just takes time to explain to them what is and how bitcoin works but it worth because they probably will support you and help gaining more bitcoin for the future.

In my opinion....YES!
I talked with many friends about bitcoin and all of them are very skeptic.
Even my wife don't trust bitcoin and thinks that I wasting my time and money here Smiley
Believe me, I gave up and will not talk about bitcoin offline any more, to my friends, only online.

Meh, sing it loud and proud.  Friends come and go and as for the mrs yeah that is a triky one i can say my mrs took a while to understand wtf the deal was and even now shes not really into it.  Either way spread the word.

Yes it's true that many kids also get involved with technology at a very young age and for them bitcoins will not be too tough to understand. I have seen many school students are talking about faucets and bitcoin giveaways. So, I believe any age people can use and save bitcoins.

I think it's very interesting and important that we mention Bitcoin to friends and family and relatives. Because this powerful crypto currency still need more support from the community, and we notice that a lot of people not knowing anything about it till now

I think its better to tell them more about the benefit of holding and using bitcoin as payment processor than other usual one like paypal. Showing them how to get profit out of bitcoin may sound hard to them at first.

you should always try and spread the word about bitcoin, this is what i always try and do.
try using your own experience and introduce them to bitcoin with setting up a wallet for them and giving them a small amount to hook them up.

It's always good to tell your family and friends what Bitcoin is and how it works.
Because you never know, maybe they get a Bitcoin later.

I have considered telling my family and some of my friends about Bitcoin but whenever I've tried, they fail to understand why it does have value and why it is extremely important specially in the current socioeconomic context.. they don't get it and see it as something really strange. Needless to say I wouldn't tell them to put any money on it. In a way it feels like im keeping something amazing to myself, but at the same time, I don't want to put people into the pressure of holding through rallies long term because most people aren't cut for that.

How to introduce Bitcoin to absolutely clueless people and is there even a point? Should we just let time pass and wait for them to naturally learn about it once it goes more mainstream?
no,i dont think mentioning Bitcoin to friends and family is wasting time, its just show what you have and what your passion for several years, and they not interesting because they know i am learn about bitcoin almost in two years to know little bit more about bitcoin.
