I think the amount of Bitcoin has been decided in deep consideration and accounting. I'm also sure that this amount is enough for it will be a circle of the bitcoin among the people. The bitcoin will be finished to the section of producing when the time limit will be reached and the producer as like as the miner can not spreed the extra bitcoin for the economic marketplace.

The number of bitcoin is only 21 million, is that enough for the future?
given the vision of bitcoin to become world currency?

what do you think of this?

I do not know if there are practical limitations to increasing that number in future. But if I was the owner/developer behind this project, I would have increased that number in future after the last coin was mined.

I do not think that this number is enough especially after seeing the number of coins with much more supply than bitcoins.

This, I think, is enough to turn BTC it into one of the most sought after and most expensive crypto currencies. I do not think there is a need for extra coins.  Smiley

I think that is enough. Even there are many comes to earn bitcoin, the limited supply will make it expensive because  there will have an increase in the demand. It is enough to circulate bitcoin, if there can be lot of supply, there can be stable value of bitcoin and investors have to find another coin which can increase their profit and cannot hold long time since they can put investment to other coin. having a limited supply can help to circulate the coin along the market.

For me its enough compared to none. At least it seems really hopeful for that probability. Also, there's still a chance that it would increase in these coming several years.

Well its better to have like this than nothing, in my own, I think its enough, its better to have a passive income. You juat invest and do nothing all you need is to wait for the rising. Well it has a big chance to increase and decrease thats the consequences we face, in order to get profit sell it on time.

Why is Bitcoin being the gold of the Internet?
It's because it's a limited number, so it's valuable. If there are too many bitcoins,
Then its corresponding price will be reduced a lot.

Yes that's certainly enough. there is no rule to buy at least 1 bitcoin. Are 21 million coins sufficient? Well it will never be the primary payment system.

Of course this is enough, not without reason, bitcoin is divided up to eight decimal places, Satoshi Nakamoto thought it all out.

if you talk total supply of bitcoin available only 21 million bitcoin pieces then it is very suitable and enough, because if bitcoin too much total supply then bitcoin price will not be as expensive as it would be very easy to get bitcoin.

I think enough, indeed the bitcoin's first vision is to be a world currency but the reality is that now many countries are rejecting it, so bitcoin users in the world will mostly use it for investment and trading, not to make any payment using bitcoin.

Yes i guess it is enough. Limited supply means higher demands, and what does it really imply will be higher price in the future once it will all be mined, aside from it, not all 21 million will be circulating, excluding those that are lost, it would be lesser than that amount, but still it will cost much when the time comes considering only a small amount of supply circulating the economy.

I think this is enough, because the founders of this bitcoin have formulated about this bitcoin and they say that bitcoin will not run out until 2140 even in the mine, this is a great formula, you do not doubt about the amount of 21co bitcoin it is because here is a velocity of money and it is not possible for every user to hoard his assets, surely they will use it in everyday life.

Now at this moment, the bitcoin quantity is at a range of the amount, but it is not the continuous quantity value. So it is increasing at a time of the declaration of Satoshi Nakamoto. It will be increased for reaching the time of ending the day when it will stop that any bitcoin is not being produced.
At the moment it is not be reached by producing the bitcoin. So the bitcoin will be finished to the section of producing when the time limit will be reached and the producer as like as the miner can not spreed the extra bitcoin for the economic marketplace.

Yes it's enough, nowhere does it say that someone has to hold 1 btc. If we think of say pennies (USD) there would be around 500 trillion of them in circulation if all physical USD that's in circulation was in pennies. Now if we consider satoshi's there will be 2100trillion of them. That's a lot of potential supply to spread around, not to mention that if necessary even a satoshi could be divided if there was an overall consensus.

An excellent answer to you has already been given by the previous forum member. I repeat - this is not something that is enough, but even a lot for 100 years.
