Don't believe everything that you see in YouTube because many of them are shilling shitcoins or they are paid to do so in order to get more people buy the shitcoins or shitokens. As I have known here in the forum, there are people who are here in the forum and know about cryptocurrency not too long ago but still bought Bitcoin and earn profit. There's no such thing as too late to invest in Bitcoin because as I have explained where not only on 2018 have a chance to earn money but also previous year and also this year. All you have needed is to have a skills, mindset and patience to earn money or profit. In other words, there are other opportunities that you can grab.

What should I do? Cry

There are no experts in the market, we only have investors and investors, and no one knows in advance what will happen with bitcoin. So is it too late or is it still early to invest in bitcoin? Everything needs you to discover for yourself, not listen to anyone's advice, including us here. If you really want to invest in bitcoin, you should start learning about the history, technology...everything about bitcoin. Then you will know if you still have a chance or if everything is too late.

For me, everything is still too early and investing now is a better time than 10 years ago when the risks are no longer too great but the profits are still worth the investment.

Hey mate please do not Kill yourself for what you meet at the right time, to me it's said whenever an information is being gotten that is the time you knows about it so nothing to worry about the sudden increase or thinking much of being late. Sincerely speaking you can start with the place you get this information and try to buy gradually as you can afford to invest without listening to any youtuber trying to make people feels so bad or depressed due to misunderstanding about bitcoin. Though there were people who knew about bitcoin but never put interest to utilize at when due but coming back to start making investment seems very late to them so they are always angry of themselves for not taking action when they got the information about bitcoin.

I am a 20-year-old student. Not long ago, I heard a famous cryptocurrency expert in Korea on YouTube.

He said, "Bitcoin investment seems to be late, to be honest. I'm sad, too. I think 2018 was the last chance for ordinary people."
No, I don't think so because I consider myself an ordinary person but if I would at 2018 have the opportunity I would definitely buy it but the price in 2018 was also high. I would say if we are imagining and praying then we should raise our expectations a little but. Like you should think about buying BTC or consider your last chance to buy BTC to be around 2014 or why not 2009? Because if we are praying for a chance then pray for a better one.

This makes me feel depressed. That expert started investing in Bitcoin in 2013, and he encouraged his acquaintances to invest in Bitcoin, but at that time he said everyone thought he was crazy.
Let me tell you one thing we are not late, but if we compare ourselves with the early joining member that joined around 2010 then we are late but we are not late if we compare ourselves with the upcoming joining member. These words are of my local community members which made a place in my mind and prevented me from getting depressed so I hope it will also help you.

It is not too late to invest in bitcoin. This is a good time that you can still invest before the significant bull market will start. If you invest and the price decreased, do not sell. Just be patient and hold and you will not miss the next bull market.

Honestly, as an ordinary college student, the price of bitcoin now feels too much to buy.. If it's the price of the early 2010s, I might have bought it through a part-time job..
You do not need to buy 1 BTC. If you want to buy just $50 worth of bitcoin, you can buy it. But the more your investment, the more would be the return.

Stop feeling depressed, it is late to invest in bitcoins but it does not mean that you cannot still gain from investing in it. Since you know that you already late, you will require extra commitment to meet up. Investing first in bitcoin does not guarantee the investor profit. You who is just investing now can profit more from bitcoin than someone who has known about it for a long time now.

Days when you could become millionaire by investing few hundreds of dollars in bitcoin are (most likely) gone, but that still doesn't mean that its too late to invest in bitcoin. Imho, as long as bitcoin keeps beating inflation (which he is doing with no problem), its definitely worth it to invest instead holding fiat that losses value constantly.

Back in late 2013/early 2014 I also thought that I was too late since BTC price was ~$1k so instead buying 0.1-0.2 BTC I bought shitcoins for a couple of hundreds of dollars. Luckily, a bit later I realized my mistake and that I am far from too late and started buying bitcoin instead. So, don't make the same mistake I did.
That's also what I believe. I'll be honest; in my opinion, it's too late to be introduced to the immense opportunities that were presented from 2013 to 2016, where an average individual could invest a few hundred dollars, and provided that he managed to hold on for years to come, he could potentially end up rich. These days are over; nowadays, you need to be wealthy to acquire one whole bitcoin; even $20,000 or $25,000 is an extravagant amount of money for the average person.

However, it's not too late to start acquiring. Certainly, don't expect to become wealthy from it, as that would also require a large amount of capital to invest from your side, but you'll be able to experience a potential return of 2x or even 3x of your investment within the next two or three years. And that's not bad at all, on the contrary.

OP, it's better late than never.

It's never too late to invest in Bitcoin, my friend. However, it's better to rely on accurate information rather than following social influencers who might sometimes provide misleading details about Bitcoin. You might be feeling FOMO (fear of missing out) at the moment, but there's no rush. You can invest in Bitcoin at any time, with any amount you have. The current price is still relatively reasonable, fluctuating around $35,000 to $34,000. If you wish to buy now, you can start with whatever funds you have available. By accumulating Bitcoin before the next bull run, you might see a significant profit, as holding onto Bitcoin for an a long period of time might just be able to make you more profits from what you've invested.

You're approaching this the wrong way, OP.
You know a thing or two about bitcoin and don't own any.
You feel like you want to own some, but instead you let others influence your judgement.

The way I see it you were pure at first. You had good intentions, wanted to learn about bitcoin, maybe get some, but then you went to youtube for advice and they took your virginity. You were raped through your eyes and ears and now all you have is fear. What if it's too late? What if they're right?

Watch good channels like Simply Bitcoin and maybe they'll manage to put you back on track.

He said, "Bitcoin investment seems to be late, to be honest. I'm sad, too. I think 2018 was the last chance for ordinary people."
You are too pessimistic about what the expert said, yes usually people always look back at what has happened but they never look forward to how bitcoin will grow even bigger, maybe now you think $34K is too expensive - if you know bitcoin reaches $100K then you don't buy it you will regret it.

This makes me feel depressed. That expert started investing in bitcoin in 2013, and he encouraged his acquaintances to invest in bitcoin, but at that time he said everyone thought he was crazy.
Why are you depressed? Is it because you see the price getting higher and higher? Experts do invest more but many in 2013 did not realize investing in bitcoin.

Honestly, as an ordinary college student, the price of bitcoin now feels too much to buy.. If it's the price of the early 2010s, I might have bought it through a part-time job..
For you it is too expensive, while for me it is still low.
Hey buddy you in 2010 were still 7 years old how could you understand about bitcoin? The age at that time was only happy when playing with children in general.

For every milestone achieved by Bitcoin, there are always people that feel they are late to Bitcoin. It happened when Bitcoin moved from $750 to over $3,000, moved to around $8k, $19k and so on. People will always doubt or give up that it is late to invest in Bitcoin... they will always be proven wrong time and time again.

Bitcoin is far from exhausting the potential. With the awareness that Bitcoin is enjoying and the growing interest by huge capitals, beyond next year, Bitcoin will likely create a new history that will make new millionaires and leave a lot of people in regrets for not investing while they could.

Don't be so depressed. You know now, so plan for the present and the future, don't waste time regretting what you did or what happened in the past. It is true that if anyone had known earlier about Bitcoin or that Bitcoin would be the way it is today, maybe everyone would have taken their strategy on that way. But no one knows what is going to happen in the future, you may be thinking that you are too late to know bitcoin or to invest in bitcoin, this may not be the case if you look at the previous records of bitcoin, how much has bitcoin pumped in every bull season.
In comparison, Bitcoin is currently at about half of its all-time high price. So I would never say that you are late to invest. If you see those who are currently holding from 2013 or 2017 are holding for a huge time. I will tell you that you can currently invest your idle fund in bitcoins and also since you are a student you can hold a certain percentage of your pocket money every week or month by DCA management for long term. If you can continue investing like this, I hope you can get a good profit in 2025. Moreover, you can try to hold for a longer time, of course, by DCA management, which will reduce the risk of loss of your investment.

There is no denying that btc price is pretty high for the ordinary people with very small income. But the good thing about btc investment is you can buy a small portion according to your capability. If you compare the current price to previous ath this price can be considered as cheap.

As a college student, investing in btc can be a very good decision because in 2 to 3 years to come the price must have been much higher and you would have made good returns with your little investment.  If you think btc is already too expensive at 34k imagine what you will say when btc goes as high as 100k according to predictions.

He said, "Bitcoin investment seems to be late, to be honest. I'm sad, too. I think 2018 was the last chance for ordinary people."

That's simply stupid and I can prove it to you.

In 2019 you could still buy bitcoin for 4000 - 5000 dollars.
In 2020 after the crash it was at that level again even if you did not buy exactly at the bottom you had weeks to buy before it reached 7000.

Doing that would put you in over 1000% profit in 2021  and would keep you at 400%  or more profit for the rest of the time.
Making 50 000 in profit from a 5000 dollar investment is not a small thing. No other investment offers such returns.

If we assume that next bull market will end with a new high, we're talking at the very least about 300% return in 2 years if you buy now.
What can you compare it to that will give you even half of that?

Take note that you should not believe what someone says because they identify themselves as a 'crypto expert', anyone with a little understanding of crypto can run a channel or an account online and claim to be an 'expert', just to deceive people and become an influencer for shitcoins.
I'm so pathetic and depressed because I didn't know Bitcoin quickly. What should I do? Cry
But you know about BTC now, don't you. If you think it is too late to buy BTC, then it is because you are only thinking about getting rich quick, BTC isn't a pyramid or ponzi scheme, it is a censorship resistant currency and because of its volatility you can make returns from it.

What makes 2018 the last chance for someone to buy some bitcoin? Does bitcoin have a specific year that it will only last? Or does it have some sort of highest price, and when that price is reached, there is no more hope of growing again? Providing that bitcoin doesn't have any of this, you are so much allowed and have a full chance of buying and starting to hold bitcoin, considering your age as well. I think you will still be alive and strong when you start enjoying the fruit of your investment in bitcoin if you start now.

Or is your place for investment just for a short time holding and then taking profit and leaving? If yes, then I think the era of the quick pump is actually a bit far gone, as the bitcoin price seems to take its time to grow during this period, but nothing still seems impossible. The price can double any day when you least expect it, but that one will be to your advantage if you don't put all your hope and expectation on it.

Hello, mate. First of all, ignore all crypto experts and gurus, no one knows what is going to be in the future. Usually such experts say what people want to hear, when market goes down they shout "sell it, it will continue going down" but when market grows they shout "Bitcoin is a future, buy it!". So don't waste your time and nerves on watching stupid "experts". Secondly, it's not late to invest, at least because price recently and now is below the all time high, if you follow DCA strategy (you may google what it s) you have all chances to buy bitcoin with a good average price per coin.

P.S. About current price of Bitcoin (34,630$ per coin) it is on the local top (I assume) therefore if you want to join the market, don't spend to much now, leave more money to buy it after the correction of the price. But don't try to catch the dip, it's impossible, always leave some money for an extra dump. And again - DCA is the best way to collect bitcoin for future with a good average price.

Good luck, mate!

Please don't allow anyone to deceive you because you're not late to the party and whoever said that does not know what Bitcoin really is. I didn't know about Bitcoin until lately and I'm happily buying at any slightest opportunity. The fact that you didn't buy during the early stage doesn't make you late. If bitcoin price could rise from few cents to $35k, imagine what the price could be in the next 10 years. So you can start your Bitcoin journey which is going to be an interesting ride by buying a lump sum or through DCA.

You're not late. If you wish to invest in Bitcoin, you can do that when BTC hype has reduced a little. Don't let anyone deceive you. BTC for me is still early in the economy sector and if you wish to own some units you could still make it in the long run. All you need do is either use Dual Investment to catch up with all lows or use DCA
