He said that ordinary people should have bought Bitcoin in early 2013. But that's on the past right? We can't go back and change history. It is what it is. The more you think about it, the more depressed you get. Why think of something that we can't change? Instead of regretting and getting depressed over things that are unchangeable, we should focus on the present to make our future better. And who says that it is a bad time to invest?

There is no good or bad time when it comes to Bitcoin investment. The moment you put money into Bitcoin, your journey begins from there. The only good time you need to know from that point is to when will you sell. Buy at low price and sell at high price. That's the end game. The amount you can afford to lose should be invested in Bitcoin. Just because other people can throw money like water into Bitcoin doesn't mean you have to do the same. That's the beauty of Bitcoin. You can choose whatever amount you want and all you have to do is wait and see your investment grow.
Don't get depressed over things that aren't realistic. How many people do you think who have bought Bitcoin in the early 2013 are still holding the same amount? If everyone keep holding their share of Bitcoin then how will it circulate? The moment you put your money into Bitcoin that money will grow over time. So it's your ability now that decides how much you can invest in Bitcoin. Invest what you can right now and don't think about the past.

I would DCA what you can afford to lose every week or month and don't watch crypto-based youtube. Bear in mind you won't be getting any dividends/interest and see where we are next halving. Remember there will only ever be 21 million BTC yet the human population is constantly rising so more people will come in.

I am a 20-year-old student. Not long ago, I heard a famous cryptocurrency expert in Korea on YouTube.

He said, "Bitcoin investment seems to be late, to be honest. I'm sad, too. I think 2018 was the last chance for ordinary people."

This makes me feel depressed. That expert started investing in bitcoin in 2013, and he encouraged his acquaintances to invest in bitcoin, but at that time he said everyone thought he was crazy.

Honestly, as an ordinary college student, the price of bitcoin now feels too much to buy.. If it's the price of the early 2010s, I might have bought it through a part-time job..

I'm so pathetic and depressed because I didn't know Bitcoin quickly. What should I do? Cry
It is not believed what the price of Bitcoin will be until a certain time. The cryptocurrency market is very circumstantial and volatile, so it's hard to trust a fixed price empirically. You should make your own judgment and take measures according to your own circumstances and policies to secure yourself a certain level of assessment and comment. Entering the investment period can be an important step for appreciation. You can be confident and start investing in Bitcoin if you have a good idea about investing. It may be humane for you, but be mindful with any investment for appreciation and leverage.

There is not only Bitcoin in the world. Do you think in trading there is no other coin than bitcoin? Bitcoin is quite better to invest but it is not at the end of its life if its price goes up, because in the past its price was about $60k+ and now we have seen it was below $20k and now we are seeing it is more than $30k and it has a great price and pump now as compared previously when it was below $20k but as compared to its highest ATH we have seen it is less than its half. So, you have much time to buy it and still, you have a chance, as in the next year there is bitcoin halving and you can get more profit to hold bitcoin and start your planning for the bitcoin to buy and take entry at some good prices which may be profitable for you in the future.

There is still demand for Bitcoin and the price is constantly rising. In the last two weeks the price has come from 30,000$ to 34,000$, what means it was already a profit opportunity for those who bought BTC back then and can sell now for a 13% profit over their investments, or still hold for the future, as there are serious chances the price is going to increase more and more yet on the following few years.

I believe that if it was too late to invest in Bitcoin, there wouldn't be so many people involved on this market at this moment. Investors take Bitcoin very seriously, especially the whales. That is a strong indicative minor fishes like you shouldn't disconsider the possibility of investing, even though you are more than 10 years late.

You came to a forum dedicated to Bitcoin and asked whether it is too late to invest in Bitcoin, what do you think they will answer you here? If I tell you that in 2025 Bitcoin will cost no less than 100k, what would you say to this, is it too late to buy Bitcoin or not?

There is no need to listen to professors and advice from other people, study this issue yourself, in any case you will be investing your money, so rely only on yourself in financial matters. And if you come to the conclusion that it is too late, then remember that Bitcoin is not the only asset that can bring profit. Bitcoin is more than just an asset for profit.

It is only natural that those who learned about Bitcoin in 2018 but did not consider holding Bitcoin will regret it now. Those people who had the money to buy bitcoin but didn't buy will regret it even more when they misunderstand Bitcoin. But there is nothing to do, we all see where is bitcoin position at the moment within just 4 years and many of us can understand where Bitcoin will be in the next few years. Considering this situation, some are buying Bitcoin while others are avoiding it. After a while those people will regret this again. Not everyone can own Bitcoin, those who are lucky enough to hold Bitcoin at the right time.

The similar threads we have from last ten years like is it late or have we missed the boat. While we are waiting for the right time the only thing that comes after is regret that we should have invested at that time.If you are long term holder and have patience with believe it will grow invest without asking such questions and it's not too late for you.
Hahaha people always ask about this so looking back of course regretting having missed the ship that was supposed to sail long ago.
It has been said that no one is late in the sense that the ship is still waiting for us to start the journey to sail if they already have considerable patience then it will not be a problem at any price because we will always assume that bitcoin will always increase every cycle.
People who keep asking if I'm late or not are usually not likely to buy because they will just keep asking without doing anything.

And this kind of thread is going to pop up again in the next 10 years I guarantee you and then that future OP will say that he/she has found a YouTuber that's said the same thing about bitcoin, that the current price we have is probably going to be the best time that they could've bought bitcoin. And to you OP, don't be too cruel on yourself because it's not the end of the world yet that you're FOMOing on the price of bitcoin, just get into bitcoin if you can, the people that's indecisive about their decision on what to do next will always be left behind, you don't want to be doing this again when bitcoin price becomes much higher in the future, think of this as an opportunity to buy now or you're going to regret again.

Do not let anyone yo decide you, their is no late time in investing bitcoin and no one can predict the price of bitcoin exactly how it will be in the future. We all are only speculating the price, it is not a guarantee that Bitcoin it will just come to pass as predicted.  If you listen to people thinking it is a large time for you to invest bitcoin you will miss the opportunity and still regret for not investing in Bitcoin. Bitcoin has always been the same,  it is just the price that has changed compare to before which it doesn't me be of it present price their is no opportunity in bitcoin. No late comers in bitcoin,  the opportunity is always their for people who wants to invest in it.

The price of bitcoin now is not bad, if you buy to hodl you can still get a better profit because the price will still get higher, the present price of bitcoin will still increase more than what it is right now.
This is such an important part of understanding bitcoin. You are NEVER late to invest into bitcoin because it will always go up in the future, that should be noted by people very often and that is how you should approach investing into it. I understand that it may not be all that great and different, but that is just how it happens and we should be considering that as a problem if we could, otherwise it is not going to end up with something that should be a little bit more troublesome.

I understand that we are not going to end up with some result that could be changing all that much, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with anything that could be a lot more harder to realize if we are too late, so we should keep on investing whenever we can.

Someone who wants to be successful should have thoughts like this. Time wasted on regrets is just wasted, this time would be better spent planning investment steps and actions or learning something that is profitable for yourself.

Regret always comes behind, but opportunity will not come a second time.

Actually it doesn't matter if you regret something that you couldn't use properly in your past, it's okay if you want to regret it but on condition that you don't regret it too much because it will only make you more anxious and like you said it will also only be a waste of time, so it's better if you make your bitter experience as a learning material and reference so that one day you don't do the same thing as in the past.

Right I agree with you, it is better that we allocate the time we have to learn everything in investment including what preparations should be prepared, as you said, build a good plan and besides that you also need to learn some ways to manage your investment accumulation well, always set risk management in your investment activities, because only that will be able to minimize so that you can avoid a little loss that you cannot afford or that you don't want. Yes, of course, the blame will always come at the end, so to just prevent it, you need to do the best action on your investment, learn everything that will make it easier and more profitable for you, then with that I think you will be able to get quite satisfied results in the future as a reward for what you have done now.

Risk management, money management and various methods of accumulation (technical and fundamental analysis) are very important things to learn. This can strengthen your mentality and provide an idea of the steps in making investments and maneuvers. Yes, sometimes for someone this is not something that needs to be learned, but without experience someone will not be successful, at least we can read and learn how successful people do through a book.

*The importance of learning something before entering that field*

I agree with your statement. It's best not to dwell too much on regret and sadness because that can't change anything. Actually there is still an opportunity for people who are late in investing in Bitcoin, we are also not required to buy 1 Bitcoin directly, we can buy it for $10 maybe, if we have more money that would be good. Current price and market conditions also support investing in Bitcoin, which usually increases several times after the halving. And it's still profitable.

Regret is not a solution, investing is a choice. Use the opportunity or throw it away, it's up to you!

The past is something we can never fix, so I really hate people who always reminisce about past mistakes.  meanwhile, the present and the future are our real lives, why don't we take advantage of the present moment to build a better future so that 10 years or 20 years later, we will no longer regret the past?  I have never looked back at the past price of bitcoin, I always like to make predictions and plans about the future because one day I know I will be there, but I cannot go back to the past.

Someone who wants to be successful should have thoughts like this. Time wasted on regrets is just wasted, this time would be better spent planning investment steps and actions or learning something that is profitable for yourself.

I have principles about investing, for me it is never too late to do it, especially for Bitcoin, don't look at the price of Bitcoin in 2018, You can see from the development of Bitcoin over a period of 4 years (halving) that Bitcoin's growth continues to increase.

From data that occurs from year to year, people always think that it is best to invest from time to time, you do it now, meaning: you have a big opportunity to reach a price that is higher than the current price, for example, if you invest at a price of $34,770, of course you need to believe that your investment can benefit you at the next highest price, at least $70-100k in the future, so your belief in investing in Bitcoin can make you successful.

You are a college student and if you are depressed just be seeing stuff like this on the internet, then you need serious help.

Bitcoin has been here for long but by the time people can put enough money in it, the price has gone up - you are not alone, 99% of the members in this forum have been through the same. The point is that you are currently in a stage in your life where you can make big changes in your career, so focus on that. Side by side start learning about bitcoin and how you can use your skills to gradually start getting paid with bitcoin.

This forum has a variety of services being paid in bitcoin. Once you start earning for yourself, you can decide on buying bitcoin yourself too.

So much of the world you have not seen or experienced, and you feel bad seeing some youtuber? Shun them and move on.

Looks for the beginner is most familiar question when asking about "its late for investing in bitcoin?" I don't know what some beginner want to invest in bitcoin always asking about this question, likely they are not really trust with bitcoin the best investment assets in the future and doubt when put their money in bitcoin. I think ignore with all doubt mindset when investing in bitcoin actually get moment bitcoin price still down. Some investors are worrying when bitcoin have going dump and likely their mindset bitcoin will drop again, but few days later bitcoin have been raise to higher price and ask the funny question "its late for investing in bitcoin?".

Imagine with bitcoin price in the future to make your decision keep trusted to invest in bitcoin right now and there are not late moment keep to buy bitcoin.

If you are expecting thousands of percent returns like bitcoin once showed us, then it is actually too late for you to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin cannot do that again.  but if you're looking for a significant return on your investment, it's never too late to invest in bitcoin.  although bitcoin is no longer as profitable as it was in its early years, it still generates better returns than any other investment.  everyone has already told you as much above and I don't want to repeat myself, the decision is up to you.

The volatile nature of bitcoin is because of fact that the crypto will repeated again and again sometimes there will be decrease in worth and other time there will be increase in price so it will not be true that once price goes up there will be no option for its reduction again. Other thing is that buying complete bitcoin is not necessary, you can buy little portion of bitcoin because crypto gives you offer that you can put any amount which you can easily afford.

There is no doubt that much lower price was in previous years but still there is a chance for you as Bull market is not initiated yet so if you have some amount of money then but bitcoin at current value because there is a guarantee that in coming year everyone will experience profit due to coming Bull season so don't be calm more and purchase bitcoin.

Everyone can invest in Bitcoin and they must prepare themselves first before investing in Bitcoin so that they can benefit from the investment they make. Yes, you are right, people never say we are too late in making investments like gold and others and I think they don't have complete knowledge about Bitcoin so they don't dare to invest in Bitcoin and they say it's too late to invest in Bitcoin. and also they will not be able to invest if they only have a poor understanding of Bitcoin.

Ignorance is probably only a small part that prevents them from investing in bitcoin, the majority will be fear and lack of trust in bitcoin. They always look to the past and think it's too expensive, they never look to the more open future that awaits them. I believe that people who always look to the past and think that it is too late to invest in bitcoin are people who have no faith in bitcoin. I bet that, even if they had a time machine to go back to the past, they would not dare to invest in bitcoin. If a person does not have faith in bitcoin, even if they are given thousands of opportunities, they will never grasp them.
The cause of the fear and lack of trust is because of the lack of knowledge about Bitcoin. The way people see the current price of Bitcoin makes them think that there's no way to afford it, so they better wait for the price to drop, which is the same as in the past, and thinks it will fall back to a specific price.

As well as people are afraid to invest due to the possibility of losing their investment if suddenly the price of Bitcoin goes down. They keep on waiting for the opportunity to enter the market until they have no chance to purchase anymore.
