Well considering the rise of bitcoin in the few years since it's birth I'm sure that it's quite possible for it to colapse , I mean everything bitcoin is a bubble , a bubble that can anytime burst !

Maybe bitcoin will lose its value if everyone sells all the bitcoin they have. It will make the bitcoin price going down. Bitcoin prices rely on supplay and demand ... maybe if sales are bigger then bitcoin prices will go down. Plus the government also prohibits the use of bitcoin in a country. Bitcoin wallet is closed. So all bitcoin transactions no longer exist. That will make the bitcoin value drop. But that's not possible
Absolutely, that is out of question that people will start dumping bitcoins. Since they are decentralized, I do not think so governments will be able to ban bitcoins besides they are aware of the fact that people are crazy for bitcoins, governments will try to figure out methods via which they can control bitcoins.

Buy, sell and store real cryptocurrencies
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.
Yes there's a chance that Bitcoin's value will decreas its price as low as it was before. It will happen if the demand decreased. And if there's a new cryptocurrency that has more advantages than Bitcoin has, because all cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, their value depends on the market's demand. If it won't be demanded by people, its price will be dumped. I highly doubt that it wipl happen especially at this moment.

Everything is possible. The underlying blockchain mechanism works perfectly well and the growing demand in Bitcoin shows this. But it can still collapse some day. For example, all governments will forbid it, or simply the demand will fade away. Although my point of view is that possibility of such scenarios is extremely low. I’m pretty sure that none of this will happen. Still it is important to take into consideration every possible course of events.
There are many different risk factors for bitcoin. If everyone is interested in his long life then you need to gradually deal with these factors. Unfortunately this is not happening. Perhaps SegWit this is the first step. Wait and see.

It is possible but just for only one reason, there might be something new that comes up. There is a saying "there is no permanent things in this world except change itself". As technology emerge as will as the satisfaction of people for new and different things in every generations change is inevitable. But the question is when? It might be as long as your lifetime. So don't take negativity as of now for it might not help you in making decisions.

Bitcoin lost %80 of its value after the GoX crash in late 2013. People panic sold their coins in despair. The price fell from over 1k$ to as low as 200$ in time. The recovery took very long time but those who hold their coins won the jackpot. Even the top buyers made at east %100 profits since then.

Can bitcoin lose its value? Yes. Only for a time.

In the long run, there will be a recovery as always.

The Solution: If you won't be able to deal with the pain of holding bitcoins for long years, only hold the amount you can afford to lose.

This was definitely the exactly answer to the questioned above, Maybe I will give some additional unto it.  I can say if there's a problem in every situation in terms of making money/bitcoin all of it has a chance to loss it but of course there is also a good solutions to resolve it like what you had mentioned as there is always a recovery of time.

Well, everything is possible, there is no way to determine what the future holds.

But it is highly probable that bitcoin will not crash to the extent that you have written any time soon. Bitcoin is still in its 'developing phase' and has received plenty of support from its users, both old and new. Bitcoin's value is strongly tied to its demand, and while the demand is up - so will the value be.  We have seen the price of BTC grow drastically in the past few weeks, of not days and looks like it will be permanent. I do not think the price will drop anywhere below $3000 USD if we look at the current trends today.

I think so too. The Aug 1st caused uncertainty is over and now the demand is rising like never before. The thing is new to bitcoin people were hesitant to buy bitcoins before the Aug 1st even though they heard that it's profitable to invest in BTC. Now after the dust settles those people will be buying more confidently.

Nobody knows what will happen next with bitcoin, but I think that sooner or later everything comes to an end and once bitcoin will lose its value when people around the world will already know about it as well as about cash.

Bitcoin- in bullish time
There is in fact nothing that prevent prices from dropping critically, but the consensus of buyers and sellers that makes the price could not be broken so hard that it would happen.

The price of bitcoin doesn't drop too low for now. And there's no way for bitcoin to lose it's value, bitcoin is becoming one of the best investments. This is making the market value of bitcoin and more investors are coming in when they are seeing the price starting to fall.

I don't think its going to go to a point when it will drop like before below 2k. With the current trend, we may even see the price not dropping below 3k anytime soon. So it will be a challenge for people buying btcs if they're going to trust bitcoin and buy at a higher price
I believe in bitcoin and i think that the price of bitcoin will become stable at $4,000+ for a long time because we can see that the price of bitcoin is stable in the past few months at $2,000+ and now it is around $4,000 and if we will continue to hold our bitcoin and hope for the increasing demand then the price of bitcoin will either continue to go to the top or just become stable at the current price range.

There is a difference between price and value, bitcoin can lose in price but not in value, the only way for that to happen is if bitcoin was no longer bitcoin, that the developers and the miners went crazy and allowed all kind of new rules on the network, that would kill bitcoin but that is not going to happen.

i guess it will not loss its value as you can see the price of bitcoin right now is at a very high price or value, it is impossible to lose it price because as long as there are many traders that trade bitcoin the price of bitcoin will keep increasing until it will worth a million.
Lol lose in value means the bitcoin gets decrease in the value of each bitcoin, But why do you say it will decrease in value. The price can easily up and down depend on the market's traction when those people gaining the trend and they want to buy more and when the coin lose the trend then people are selling it.

Yes, it is possible that bitcoin and any other currency lose their value. But for this, another currency should appear that will supersede it, until I see worthy and you can safely enjoy bitcoin.
Yes it’s quite possible for such to happen. Assuming there was a split, and everyone get scared and start to sell their Bitcoins, then the price is likely to go down a lot. But the price is less likely to go down for now as Bitcoin trading markets are showing healthy volume because new investors are rushing into adopting bitcoin. The new high prices are making this magic possible.
Bitcoin is the main crypto, even some alts appeared it doesnt lose it value even when split happen last August 1,bch were created but it doesnt change anything it just make moke panic for btc users but still btc stood still. I think never btc will lose its knowing its value before that raises up to now.
Yep, its no way to bitcoins to loss its value cryptocurrency now were just starting and who ever believes on it will become rich in the next years and the ones who doesn't believe bitcoins will have no value for them anf they will regret it in the coming future of price adoption of bitcoins not only in the country but also the companies who want to use it.

The price of bitcoin or it's value against dollar keeps fluctuating almost throughout the year so it's not to be worried about. The prices drop only to rise higher or at least that's what we have witnessed in the past. The possibility of bitcoin losing it's value is equal to the possibility of bitcoin's value regaining all over again and higher than the previous one. Just hold your bitcoins and make the most of it in the future.

That's a very clear insights, yes bitcoin price drop off was just based on how investors really are dumping their assets and thus on queue people who wanted to buy while the price goes down were eager to invest and dump again if they saw a good price bounces back. Holding your bitcoins is a good advice and it's really proven as I personally regret months passed I wasn't able to hold my btc amounts I had for the last four months it was all been cashed out; sold and exchanged to fiat currency.

Right , Even if bitcoin fall down it will rise up higher than he was , according the history of bitcoin there's no worries in saving or investing in bitcoin
Yes history tell us everything about bitcoin, how it rise, how many time it falls and then how bitcoin recover its fall. Making all these history facts as points then we conclude that there is no chances for bitcoin to fall down because those factor that made bitcoin to fall are remove and failed to effect bitcoin any more, bitcoin users make it strong now.
