Do you think it is possible to completely get rid of scams?

Hello everybody. I think everyone who has ever been involved in cryptocurrency investments is interested in the question of how to protect themselves from scams and loss of money. Recently I learned about the CheckDot project, which creates a platform with which it will be possible to get an assessment of any project in the blockchain world. In theory, this way you can get rid of a lot of scams, but does it help?

What do you think, is it possible to somehow get rid of scams among crypto projects?

I think getting rid of a scam is not easy, but there are many ways to avoid the scam I think.
what we need to do to avoid these scams is to not be careless in investing for a crypto, then don't be influenced by the media that talks a lot about the crypto. In my opinion, putting this attitude forward will protect us from fraud and will not lose our money.
Being scammed isn't very pleasing because it will leave you staring in walls overtime. Even professionals are getting scammed especially novice. I've been there but even though it's not a large sum, still I worked hard for it not to go in waste.
So my advice is, always keep sensitive informations to yourself only, if it's inevitable then atleast make a hardcopy for safekeeping. Be aware of clickbaits because that's where they can find your informations and passwords. Always search everything to be knowledgeable rather than watch news that we know is a one-sided story.

First off all do your research and get advice from expert before joining any project . And don't connect your wallet to any site  without research. You can protect yourself from scam when you have complete knowledge about the project you wanna join.

I think that it is not an easy thing to avoid scams just because you have no idea about the scam.
For experienced people, it's easy to avoid scams because of what they've gained as experience with these scams.

But at some extent you can  overcome scam by first investigate about the project and have some information about the project designer that is there any scam project of that person or not. Actually it is the fact that those which are scam will initially ask for certain amount of money so you can easily find that this is scam.
The developers is what you should look for their background. That's already a good ground where you can start for determining if the project is a scam or not.

Actually yes, i think if you just only knew right away that the project you seem to be joining smells like it's gonna be a scam scheme, or if you do several research first before entering into investments in a project it's safe to say you can refrain all of these type of scams and in other ways like ignoring Ponzi scheme and phising sites that are emailed to you.

But it is more convincing to choose a project whose market capitalization is clear, such as the investment you make in the top 50 coins, this is clearer and we can make a thorough study, compared to the ChekDot project which currently does not have any prospects , many projects sometimes only rely on hype, not infrequently they even do evil ways to deceive many people, to avoid all that it is better for us to avoid.
The point is that all of that needs to be analyzed first before knowing whether the project is good or bad because good projects are known through research and analysis as well as bad projects so judging it early is a mistake before doing research first.
Yes, a little research is indeed needed to assess a project, both new and old, nowadays many people do not do that in making choices, so they are carried away by the hype that continues to be developed, even though we can look for many available sources, to find out if the project is is worth investing in or not, then we will be able to identify good projects.

Personally, in order to avoid fraud, you should at least always be ready for such attacks. There are several ways to avoid fraud. One way is simply not to participate in projects and there is a possibility that fraudsters will be able to pass by. And if you participate, you can fall into the hands of scammers and lose your funds. And from this no one is immune, failure can happen to everyone. You just need to be very careful and attentive in the cooperation of business projects.

Not only is it not easy but in my opinion it is almost impossible to get rid of the scam,
especially with current technological developments, they can use various ways to do this,
it's true that all we can do is avoid it and of course we need to be careful in investing

Numerous novices are getting misled so how would you intend to take care of them. Complete direction, update and all alerts. Too many opened token with the advancement group and task proprietors is one more method of trick as they can dump on us whenever. The con artists are too savvy to even consider getting your cash and they can flee with your cash without you understand.

You can't stop scams even if you want to. Because it doesn't happen through one person, it happens through many people. This scam started when cryptocurrency started. But before, there were not so many scams like now. And preventing this scandal is not so easy. Because the identity of those who are doing this scam is not given anywhere. That's why you can't catch a cheater even if you want to. If every user had an identity, it would be possible to capture it. So in my opinion it is impossible to prevent scams. You cannot take preventive or legal action against a stranger even if you want to. You can only take legal action if you know the identity of the person.

nah, it's hard to avoid them. they are getting smarter day by day. some projects even have a good whitepaper/litepaper, audit, Doxxed team, etc. still can scam you. i believe CheckDot project can't fully save you from scammers. i'm still investing my money in top 50 market cap coins. but it doesn't mean i am safe from scam one day. maybe one of them turned into a scam project in the future.

It will be practically impossible to avoid falling for scam although with experience and mastery, you could reduce the possibility of falling. However, there are so many newbies out there who without any form of knowledge want to test the deep waters with both feet. And also, sometimes a dev may have very good intent but ending up failing, so it might not necessarily be a scam in this case but a failed project.
Bottom line is, one has to be really careful before investing in a project because some of these dev are not really your friend.
In addition some newbies are also greedy thus fell into scamming schemes, a lot of them are always offer with bogus fictitious rewards and bonuses in bid to make huge profits lose their hard earned money to scammers. We have to be very diligent and careful when it comes to investing in an unregulated crypto markers where scammers devises all sort of tricks to lure unsuspecting investors in a bid to scam them, researching projects we intend to invest in is the first step towards avoiding a scam

So we have to be very careful when investing in new projects, you have to know if they have a strong team, otherwise you have to make up your own mind, I believe they use their project as a tool to attract investors after taking profit then they disappear without obvious reasons.

CheckDOT, I just heard about this project and I went straight to the platform.
In general, audit platform is needed to increase investor's trust, let's take CertiK example, some projects have been verified by this security platform and as you can see, new projects that get CertiK certification will be chosen by investors, but you need to do some research too, because no one knows if the new audited project will last a long time following crypto developments or end up being a scam.

possible. I mean by researching each project you want to invest in first. check their background. and be sure to leave a mark when you find anything suspicious especially like an unreasonable return on investment. and also avoid things related to money rich in one night.
In essence, bids that are too large for each new project need to be researched and questioned because if it doesn't make sense in general, it will obviously have an effect if the project does not become successful at the time they have set themselves.

I haven't fully understood about the project so I can't judge if it will help to avoid scams or not. what is certain to avoid scam projects can be started from ourselves where we have to be more careful in choosing a project or coin to invest. We know that scammers certainly have many ways to cheat with tempting offers, but we also have to be smarter in sorting them out. scammers exist because there is an opportunity so as much as possible don't give opportunities to scammers because many people have been deceived by it and have suffered big losses.
Yes, that's right, if we don't recognize the project and don't have a strong reference, we should just leave it rather than a big risk will come, this kind of project usually only relies on hype, even to find more information is quite difficult for us to get, that means staying away from the project This is wiser than having to participate, considering the big risks we can't necessarily minimize.

To avoid the overall fraud is very difficult for investors, sometimes the assessment of the project from various sides is very good. But back to the owners, if they are honest this will be good luck for investors. If it was greed that they had and wanted to take everything else's property, this would be very hard to accept. But it would be nice to invest in projects that are managed by very experienced managers and have spawned many successful projects. For me this is very important, because the fraudulent mode will be carried out in ways that actually make us really believe it.
