Of course this is a huge risk and you can lose your money, but on the other hand you can earn a decent amount of money. You never know how much the coin will cost tomorrow.

Yes I would assume so. I have a lot of trust issues with shitcoins and I do not really feel like investing a single penny in them unless I am completely sure that I would get returns from them. By investing in top 100 coins, I become absolutely sure of the fact that company will stay here and wouldn't scam people. There have been instances when ICOs turned out to be scams, and hence I do not want to risk my hard earned money with them

it is not risky, but need to follow those projects to know, when they start/finish, when they come out on the market, to know what the best time to trade it.
It is all and all your choice but if you are going to invest your money into crypto currency, then it is better for you to invest your money into such coin which can then help you in having an effective earning and that you can get more profit because of that coin. The only reason why most of the investors invest in well reputed coin is that they exactly know that this will not make them suffer.

All altcoins are risky to buy because the value can be reduced if you buy at the wrong time. TOP in the coinmarketcap is just sort of capitalized by the altcoins, so there is plenty of good potential altcoins worth still low still ranking low. You should invest in well-grounded altcoins, clear development paths and you see the value of it is low and may increase in the near future to buy. Do not invest in altcoins with no community or project dead or no longer devs team.

WPP ENERGY - BACKED ASSET GREEN ENERGY TOKEN
In my opinion its not, because there are many coin still undervalued with strong community  but still has low volume and marketcap,  usually they still low in market capitalization and trading volume because not trade able yet in big exchange. Actually many coin below top 100 crypto  was going up multiple times even 10 to 20 times just in a few months like Hexx and peepcoin .

I think it's risky because you can not analyze these coins and you only have to rely on luck  Cheesy

Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?
I think this strategy is only one, where you can earn a real profit, when project is still not pumped and there is no big exchanges yet. But yes, it more risky.

There's a risk not only outside top 100 coins but also those top 100 coins. This is the crypto market where it's very unpredictable so you really don't have to think the risk because it's always there.
But to give you the idea, I wouldn't stick to those coins outside the top 100 as long as there's a bigger volume of that coin then that makes sense. For example, you have that coin and you hold millions of tokens and later on the price moves from 1 sat to 2 sats but there's buy order because that coin is almost dead, you can't even get more money.

Buying top hundred of cryptocurrency in coinmarketcap is not a guarantee that you will make money.  There are plenty reason or reasons why S coin is successful and these reasons are not far fetched.  One need to identify factors that determine coin success and use it as your basis for investing in any coin.

It is actually better to invest on top coins since they are well known and well established. Their prices are also somewhat more stable (compared to other coin price) and hence it is less riskier. But the downside is you won't be making huge profits since those coins does not skyrocket all of a sudden like other coins which are less known does.
If you have made up your mind that you are going to invest your money into any of the crypto coin, then it is better to make an investment in the coin about which you are pretty much sure that you will able to make some good earning at the end and that the market value of that coin will increase in the coming days. There is no point of investing in a coin which can’t help you in earning of a single penny.

If the project has a strong development team and large capital, then there is nothing to be afraid of. You can make good money.

Of course, buying a crypto currency that is not in the top 100 is more risky than mainstream tokens! The first is because the demand for their products is not very large, followed by their technical team is not so ideal! They may face the dilemma of extinction at any time!

Coins not from the top 100 in the long term can give more profit, because they are not overheated by the market. But like everywhere else, where there is a big profit, there is a higher risk. Therefore, you need to carefully approach such coins, it is better to study well before buying.

If I choose a coin above the top 100 I look more careful about the project.
Why isn't it hyped right now? Do they have some different tech? Very important..

these coins have to battle to some very big projects and teams.

send and receive money instantly, no hidden costs
It depends on your ability to select assets to your portfolio. With proper diversification, the risk will not be greater than when holding top coins.

If you know what you are doing and can distinguish good project from scamcoin, then looking above 300 is even an option. ARN, PKT, SYNX... Lots of them!

no, there is no difference. only that if you buy tokens from the top 100 coins, you are buying top notch quality, because most of those coins are very stablished and have a very good team. It does not mean that all those which are below top 100 are crap, because it is not.

Not always thou. If you recognize the potential behind starting projects you can invest in it. At the start  it is hard to gain attention of sponsors. Always look at the team that working on the project.

very risky but worth a try because the price is so cheap that we can buy it in bulk and when the coins have a slight increase in price we can get very much profit because we have a lot of coins but you also have to be careful in choosing a coin because it could be coin is not grow

The answer is NO but you can't remove the risk it is always in there no matter what rank that token are.
There are thousands of pre-mined ICO tokens out there but as long as the price of other altcoin is moving, what i mean is not dumping and staying then there might be a chance that you will still gain some profit from it because there are traders that is ready to trade their token to each others.
