yes it is safe to buy and invest in bitcoin especially now that its price is low

thats not what the op wants to know . price of bitcoin isnt also the basis if its safe to buy using it but we must first check the website that we wanted to buy on . its always a good idea to avoid those unfamilliar shopping sites and just stick on the popular ones for your own safety because btc transactions are ireversible not unlike to credit cards and other centralized payment methods such as paypal  .  though buying using btc isnt really the best option for me rather i use other cryptos for to save up on the fees  .

I think it depend on the location, because if the internet connection is good that would become easy and safe to buy using bitcoin.
But if the place is poor for data connection it will be hard to use bitcoin as mode of payment. But this is 100% safe I am sure about that.

These operations do not differ much from other transactions, but even more safe. If you are going to buy something for Bitcoin, you risk even less than when you are planning to do the same thing with your national currency, Euro, or dollar. probably, the seller is simply the guy who wants to join the crypto market using this way.
It is a win-win deal for both sides as I can guess.

You only thinking from a buyers viewpoint. What about the seller? It just reverses the problem.

If you buy BTC at the right exchange, everything will be safe, but if you buy at the wrong exchange, all your money will be lost.

buying at the right exchange still have some risk . what if you deposit your fiat and when your about to buy a btc the exchange suddenly got hacked ?  but dont worry because the chance that this can happen is pretty slim especially if you are using a trusted exchange  .

You traded on an exchange that cheated you and took all your BTC and they closed the site, it's sad that you didn't learn the site you bought, which shows that you lack experience.

that is if you are a newbie but if not  , you will be aware if what is a legit exchange and what is shady  .  its not bad for a newbie to fail at first try but he should learn from that failure so that he can get wiser and will not loose more than what he should be earning

That is why you don't keep coins in an exchange you trade and then finish.
You must always use a small test amount first. Maybe even break your withdraws into pieces. Never deposit everything in one go.

I found that the bitcoin ATM machines are quite good to use and there's normally someone that can help you with using them if you haven't used one before, there is a good one in Lower Thames Street in London at St Magnus House, the company that has it is called https://learn2.trade/ they will be able to help speak with you if you need more directions.

If you buy BTC at the right exchange, everything will be safe, but if you buy at the wrong exchange, all your money will be lost.  Remember now there are a lot of scammers here, so we must be careful and do your research well before deciding to buy Bitcoin or other Crypto coins.

Bitcoin transactions are irreversible. This is the price of anonymity and decentralization. This means that people need to be careful when they send their Bitcoins somewhere.
Yeah because there is no cancel button for the transaction that you sent, There is no police or special agency will be responsible when you are cheated by hackers, or investment sites scam. Therefore you have to be really careful who you trade with, the trustworthiness of the investment site you choose and many others. You should careful by using bitcoin.

Buy with BTC securely when you buy the right place in the big, highly liquid website.

Before you buy follow this simple steps
1. Watch where you buy
2. Keep a watchful eye on your wallet
3. Don't buy off line except you have an escrow or are totally certain.
Buying bitcoin is safe but careless attitude can cripple that

Hello:
I am new to cryptos and I must say that my first experience has been a bad one, I recently visited antminerusa.com and purchased some hardware, that was about 10 days ago, I paid using BTC, now the site is no longer available, its been down for 3 days maybe a bit more, this lead me to think this website is a scam.  Now what should I do to recover my BTC, if the purchase where made using a credit card, I would report it to my bank and they could void or cancel payment, but with BTC what should I do?, if there is nothing that I can do, then it is obvious that using cryptos is a scammers paradise because there is no protection to buyer (that I know), unless there is a way to introduce the complain in the chain in order to reverse payment.
This is the transaction id 30dc4f431ac3db1949b330ab8cd31d1bb019d4831e24cd7cd7f4215fca73073b if anyone could share some light I would appreciete it.

Cryptocurrency is not the same with buying in store or mall that you can return/exchange an items within 7 days period. In crypto,if you did a transaction successfully you can't get it back unless the you know the person you have sent it and ask him to give it back to you. That's always be carefull in making transactions, check it first very well because you and only you is the only responsible for all your transactions made inside the crypto world.

as far as I know, there is no such system when using bitcoin in transactions. this is also one of the drawbacks of using bitcoin as a transaction tool. You can only take precautions before you send them.

This is an experience for you, even though it is a bad experience, but it teaches you to be more careful in making transactions. on the internet, there will be many scammers who try to get out the bitcoin / altcoin that you have in this way. before making a transaction, look for reliable information about it.

so far, I also can't open the site you mentioned.

That is your worth lesson, so you don't have to make the same mistake. Every time you decide to buy online using bitcoin, make sure the site has trusted and recommended because we don't know if the site can trick us or not. Yes, you need to search more info about the site so you can prevent from the scammers that will get your money. I hope you can remember this so, in the future, you can take care of yourself while you are shopping on the internet.

well to start with, I do not totally understand what you mean you can tell your bank to recall back the payment you make online. what if the scammer has withdrawn the money from the account? Now back to your question, One of the worst mistake people make online is not doing research on targeting shopping site before buying. There are thousands of fake and scam ecommerce website on the internet. it is your duty to check for legitimate one before proceeding to make business. Finally, It is not possible to get back your coin since the transaction is done. Sorry for your loss.

It was scam! And you hastily do some transaction, one clicked and your bitcoin was gone. Unfortunately, you can't get it back. Once the transaction was confirned, it was already irreversible. Hope, this will be a lesson learned to you. You have to check some feedbacks befofe entrusting sending bitcoin to some websites. Better to just purchase some products and goods in reputable online selling websites. Or if you fall for the big discoubted price, the more you think twice that it wasn't a legit site.

I will agree with you having a bad first experience in the crypto world. Unfortunately, you seem to have been scammed.
To answer your question, YES it is safe to buy using bitcoins. The only thing I will suggest you do in the future before making any payments using crypto is that you thoroughly do a background check and look for any previous reviews of the website selling.
As is the nature of bitcoins, it cannot be traced and does not fall under any regulation; you must be careful while making payments through this mode.
