There is no way to reverse the transaction. The only way to do that is when the company will send you back the BTC but if it is really a scammer then we can really say that it is already lost
I feel sorry for you but you should not paid someone in BTC when you are not sure about the site. I think everyone will learn a lesson about your experience. Be careful next time.

Have you know this forum when you made decision to deal with antminerusa? As some people's comment on above there is a few thread that have discussed that antminerusa was scam. In my life when I use bitcoin as payment system I have to know first the merchant or everything else about the receiver itself, because we don't know who are we dealing with. Unless you use bitcoin to buy something on the company who really use bitcoin as payment system such as expedia and etc, so if you find a problem with them you can ask to their support and most likely they will resolve the problem.

it is not about the Bitcoins actually you have tried on this scam website and sport that site has been no longer available now. using Bitcoin is the best and safest way of making payment without no control or interventions of the third party members.

Please write them about on scam accusations section to show their fake face to all over this forum.

Yes. The thing about scams inside this community is that you have to speak about them. As loudly as possible in as many places as possible to let people who is related to this know how stupid that organization is or is behaving.

So other's won't fall for it later and then everyone would go to blame Bitcoin for their misfortunes when it was in fact people with really bad intentions.

to address your main question (apart from that obvious scam site you used) i have to say with every design you get certain advantages and have certain disadvantages. you can never find anything in this world that is ONLY advantages and has no downsides! that can only happen in an imaginary perfect world.
so in case of bitcoin we are comparing it with the old payment systems that have charge back. with them there are millions of scams happening every day and merchants are experiencing a lot of loss because of them. if you explore a little bit of the complains that the merchants are posting online about things like PayPal, credit cards,... you can see how bad having a "charge back" is. you don't see it because you are only looking at it from the perspective of someone who uses them and may need to do a charge back. not from someone who is receiving it and is scammed because others did it!
I am also sure that the refund function is not necessary for the buyer.  It really protects the businessman who sells his goods.  First of all, the buyer should use only the online store that is really in demand and is definitely not a fraud.  But each store can have hundreds and thousands of customers who can not be checked for good faith, as this can be done in relation to the online store.  Thus, the restriction for fraudsters should work.

external for a beginner to use purchases with Bitcoin will still be a little difficult and this complexity will mostly consist of his psychological fear or ignorance.  But for the rest, I do not see any problems, And the main thing is the so people choose those online stores, which has a good reputation and good rating.

Hello:
I am new to cryptos and I must say that my first experience has been a bad one, I recently visited antminerusa.com and purchased some hardware, that was about 10 days ago, I paid using BTC, now the site is no longer available, its been down for 3 days maybe a bit more, this lead me to think this website is a scam.  Now what should I do to recover my BTC, if the purchase where made using a credit card, I would report it to my bank and they could void or cancel payment, but with BTC what should I do?, if there is nothing that I can do, then it is obvious that using cryptos is a scammers paradise because there is no protection to buyer (that I know), unless there is a way to introduce the complain in the chain in order to reverse payment.
This is the transaction id 30dc4f431ac3db1949b330ab8cd31d1bb019d4831e24cd7cd7f4215fca73073b if anyone could share some light I would appreciete it.
I also saw that site and that site is down.Sorry to hear that you are scammed. but you can't cancel that payment.also you can't say that crypto is a scammers paradise.because its your own fault. before buying something in online you should judge the website carefully. you can search in google or there other social media review. but you went that site and bought and finally you scammed. its your own fault.

The crypto ecosystem is made up of some people who are just interested in scamming others for their funds or digital assets. In as much that a website accepts payment in Bitcoin does not guarantee that it is safe to make transactions on the platform. Please research enough about any website before deciding to make any form of transactions on their platform.

It is safe to buy using Bitcoin as long as you know how legit the seller that you are negotiating. I rarely use Bitcoin in most cases since i don't like the hassle of the high volatility, that's why i always use fiat instead. But before i buy things from anywhere, i do make sure that the site is really giving the right item that i want and not just a newly made sites that would soon to vanish after you send some money to them.

Don't buy from sites which have no user reviews , offcourse people are going to dupe you if you don't thoroughly research.

At the same time , it's not just Bitcoins it's same with any payment made online , we see scams every single day therefore I don't think we could blame it entirely on Bitcoins , thats your part to decide which site to trust

Do a thorough investigation before even sending anything , or just make a lightning payment when you check and receive your product.

Unfortunately I don't think your money will be returned because till now we cannot reverse payment because of obvious reasons since it will be used for even more scams.

it looks like you have been a scammer victim. bitcoin transactions are P2P-based so there is no way to cancel or reverse the transaction. transactions using bitcoin is safe and are responsibility by the user so transactions that take place cannot be intercepted by anyone.

There is no absolute safety, people need to know that. And if they are vuctims of scams I can understand they are afraid. Still when it comes to safety the way how Bitcoin transactions are functioning is one of the safest. I would say much safer than using credit cards or similar. Still the safety of Bitcoin transactions would not save you from shady people and scamers so you always need to be careful  where are you buying and what so always check the trustworthy.

With bitcoin transaction are irreversible once you issue a transaction that's it so you always need to double check everything before you do it, including the site that you are buying stuff from, you need to check reviews for or ask about it in this forum especially when you are buying something expensive, this irresponsibility is a double edged sword , if you make a mistake your funds are gone you can't get them back, but think about it if this was a scam site which uses credit card  the scammer would have all your info and can take all of your fund from your credit card and your bank account, so bitcoin is still going to be better than cc you just need to be careful and know where to spend it.

Your title is extremely misleading. I buy things with bitcoin all the time so yes it is safe. More so then banking.

I also love that your mind is so closed and you don't even have the sense to do your research. Mining hardware websites are often scams it is a known thing. YOu would know this had you done your research.

Once more another idiot blaming something else for his or her shortcoming. YOu have yourself to blame and nothing else. Take responsibility and stop blaming other things.

Your closed mind only sees from one side. What about being a vendor? OR do you think bitcoin is only for buyers? Not being able to take back the payment is the reason many people use bitcoin, to begin with.

You think only from the buyers side.
Did you even think of the sellers side?
When I get paid for something I want to know the payment is mine not chargebacks. You say crypto is for scammers yet fiat charge backs are ok?

Get some sense.

This is exactly like people who invest in things do. They cry they lost money on the exchange but guess what no one ever held a gun to anyone's head and told them to invest. They know the risks going in.

I think the first thing you should have done is to learn more about bitcoin before making a purchase with it because clearly you don't really know much about it.

Even with fiat currency, many people do scam with fake websites, so you don't need to place the blame on Bitcoin. It's your duty to verify the authenticity of any website you intend to make purchases online before doing so.
Which is the very basic that we need to do before dealing or using our bitcoin, we need to authenticate the site in order to make sure that the
transactions will be legit as bitcoin is non reversible its our obligations to take a deeper look to avoid being scammed in any means.

You should look at the social media accounts of that site(if it has any) so that you can see if there is a on going construction of the site or any bugs on the site. Buying bitcoin is safe but you need to make sure you put the right address and bitcoin's transactions are irreversable. It means that you cannot take back what you transacted. But if it's an exchange and it hasn't processed yet, it could get reverted. But, on your case, it is a site.

Since bitcoin is a irreversible currency it can't be refund to again. Buy with bitcoin safe if websites or sellers are trusted enough. Scammers are getting benefits of bitcoin transaction. So before buy any product from this kind if website you should we research. I will suggest to avoid transaction un-reputed website.
