Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
I am sure participation in ICO will be very secure because with the increasingly complex keyword strengths and ICO companies that have good technology that is business in this field.
if it is not safe there are not many people who participate and fortunately many

It is safe only when you do bountys with ICO's. In investmensts you never know for sure safe it or no. Do your own research and find good ICO with nice idea and promisng project, and afterall it always be risks, so it's up to you,

Not 100%. Participating in ICO's is an investment and in every investment there is always a risk. There are promising ICO's out there that are worth looking into. And like what most said in here always do your research before diving in.
Every investor should know that the only way you can have close to a win situation is if you analyze the risk and you see it is worth taking, then you take it, but that still does not guarantee anything since no one knows the future. It is safe to participate in a good ICO with a quality team and a fantastic project, not just any ICO.

If you had a good research, it is safe for sure. You should be careful and read a lot about project and team before you invest.
Proper quality research always help a lot in making good and quality decisions on any ICO one wants to participate in. The team, project, product, future developments and so on and so forth. Once one is satisfied with all these and it looks promising, then it should give a good return unless you will be at the mercy of your luck.

Its safe to join an ICO only if you'll joined through Airdrops or Bounty which you don't need to spend anything coming out from your wallet. All you need to sacrifice is your time searching in the Alt (Ann) thread or any site/news relatted to crypto. ICO's don't pressure everyone to purchase, only if you are interested. That's the reason why each ICO thread invest truly on their marketing to make their post attractive and legit to users, also they have their own road maps, whitepaper and a team so that you can decide which is which when it comes to profitability or opportunity.

No not exactly it depends on the ICO ,
you have to check if the coin is legit ,
check who are the one backing the projects
this is one of the mistake of almost 80 percent of people
who joins ico buy coins/tokens they just buy because of the hype
they dont know that after buying, they will loose half of the price they bought
and result is a disaster, before joining make your homework, its not easy but the result is positve
and will guide you to earn a lot of profit in the future

It's all about risk when we talk about investment. Any type of investment is dangerous, even bank deposit. As investor you should always count your risks. You should be in game only if reward is significantly surpass the risk. Always make good research about ICO you are interested in and count your reward/riisk rate.

This is maybe interesting to read: https://cointelegraph.com/news/icos-are-biggest-scam-ever-will-lead-to-disaster-says-infamous-wolf-of-wall-street But with a fair amount of criticism and common sense.

Yes of course it is safe, but you need to be wise on picking some ICOs because there are a lot of ICOs that are scam or failed. So in order to assure that you will not get scammed probably check and observe well about their team, their project, it should be active and it should have a good whitepaper. Every successful project always gave a decent presentation of their whitepaper and dont forget to read those papers because it might be too good to be true. It is kinda hard to pick on the perfect ICOs nowadays because there are a lot of shitcoins out there and they are rapidly increasing

Just like in the real world, there are many people who is fine with using unfair ways to get money for themselves. That's why you always need to study each project carefully and especially the team because if it's experienced and known for having been launched successful projects earlier, then the chances to be tricked are minimum. Just think, analyze (and keep your passwords and online activity safe) and you'll be fine.

No it is not safe to participate or invest in any ICO unless you made a thorough research and investigation about the coin and who are behind it. In my best estimate around 90% of ICO  price usually goes down and other devs left behind and leave the investors.

I think ICOs without a true product, just with a whitepaper are very risky... unless the team is quite famous, we can't believe in a whitepaper, it doesn't make sense.
another way to attract investors but real project is needed in terms of investing with ico, if the project will be offering service which doesn't have any
duplicate project or its unique for sure it can be usable from that  point so investing wont waste your money and time waiting for its progress.

There are risks involved of course. I'm sure you have heard of scamcoins that goes in and out or just get delisted in exchanges very quickly. You should think twice when investing in them and I prefer that you read articles about them that came from reputable news organization or sites.
