Myetherwallet has been the most secure Ethereum client for long time now. Myetherwallet is easy to use, secure, and advance than any wallet that hold ethereum ever. I doubt it if the new entrant to smart contract coin will have better wallet compare to MEW!
So far, I still use MyEtherWallet and it is secure enough. i always save my private keys and never leave the wallet to be on without any logout. MEW is a free wallet and it has some risks actually. But, so far, this si secure enough. Juts be more careful when using, storing the private key, and also diversifying the wallet accounts.
