myetherwallet is the most erc20 compatible wallet and is widely used by all ico because it has a very fast and very easy to use transaction and has pretty good security

It is quite safe, if you have good security of your computer and do not add any add on your browser. You will be safe, not long ago MEW was hacked by add on Hola. So do not install anything on your computer. And make sure your private key only you know it

You should not be entering private keu or keystore. It's really not safety. You should check the address is right or not. And the certification should be "Myetherwallet INC". Yes for me Myetherwallet is most secured unlike on exchange, as a newer here in crypto I am using Mew since I started to store token and ethereum. If I had already recieved my tokens from bounty campaign I usually preferred to store it in mew rather than storing on exchange. I think mew is more convenient and good to store ethereum or tokens.

base on my experienced yes it's definitely a safe wallet that support different alt coin, but i suggest must use the real one mate because most results now in google is clone wallet which is had the same design made by hackers to easily hack crypto holders money without using a phishing link. It's definitely easy to use and one of the mos5 recommended wallet to store eth and other erc20 token alongside with metamask. You may see a lot of hacking problem but that can be avoided if you care about the security of your computer and you know what you are doing. I am guaranteed say that it is safe to use as wallet, just be sure that your not leaving your account open i think it is hard to hack unless you tried to share your private key in your wallet even on your close friend this is your private property keep it safe always..
MEW is not that much secured to use especially when you need to open your wallet. Several times, hackers have hacked their site and got away with people's tokens.
