Of course not. Investment certainly requires a long time or long term to get profits. Besides that, altcoins are still relatively cheap, I say this because the price of altcoins is still far from its previous ATH price. As long as we can choose which potential altcoin we will invest in, then make a purchase and save it, I'm sure that during the altseason the profits we get will be big, especially if the altcoin is able to make a new ATH.

We are very close to the bull market so you can buy the best tokens that have the potential to be profitable. Moreover super market for altcoins has high risk and best coin investing advanced plan like cmc can visit top list. Also i would not always invite new investors because they have a high sense of love which is why they often buy cheap tokens which are pretty much death tokens. Anyway good luck for future market and you can make good profit if you want just do research things.

I would like to brief about the current market situation as there has been surge in value of altcoins a much higher surge compared to Bitcoin and many would have utilised this momentum to gain profit but if we look at the other side if you just look for top gainers you will find altcoins with top surge but the next day or after few days if you check the top losers you will find the same top gainers in this list as well. So there is a price increase for altcoin but not a established one like Bitcoin, because we have not seen dump in the value of Bitcoin for over an month now but Altcoins has been pumping and dumping and in my opinion it's not worth to make entery for long term as of now it's good only for quick profit whole being very active. What's your opinion ? Shall we invest or just involve in quick trades ?
Altcoins are not for the long-term, they are only good for short-term trading or scalping, If you are getting 2% profit from a single trade on an altcoin, consider that being very good because making 5 such trades a day would give you a 10% profit for the day which is more than enough. This is the reason why scalpers usually use altcoins for their trades and not Bitcoin since altcoins are more volatile than Bitcoin and also because of the difference in their prices.

So, the answer to your question would be that one should only make quick trades using altcoins and shouldn't buy and hold for a long time unless they want to take the risk hoping and aiming for higher profits which might be possible but since there is a lot of risks involved, people often don't do it.

around when the market is gonna get bullish is the safest time to invest, you just find what the bottom at and wait few weeks, your money gonna grow rapidly. thats the thing with bullrun, everyone become master of investment. even investing in random altcoin would be bountiful harvest for many. but of course its different with investing when bearish.
personally i would not invest anymore around this time, most of coin has risen quite high, it instead increase the risk of investing, even higher than in bearish, at least in bearish with all coin having low value, you could just invest into altcoin that you favour and then leave it alone until bullish came in but investing at peak bullish will either force you to cut lose or force you to wait few years, though if you're so sure that the coin can increase even higher, then maybe thats the chance for that, after all we haven't hitting the all time high yet.

There is no end when talking about the risks of investing in cryptocurrency, especially in altcoins. There will be risks that you can face when investing in altcoins, especially if it is a new altcoin that you choose. Maybe, you can get high returns from these altcoins, but it is also possible that you will lose your money when investing in altcoins, especially if you miss the moment to take profits. So, it's best to first analyze as best as possible what altcoins you want to invest in. Don't just carry the FOMO of new coins that promise a thousand sweet promises and double profits. they are not much different from scammers. Understand what you want to do, both investing or trading and in what coins you will choose.

Just do quick trades if you're able to. The market is still in confirmation period and we get some corrections on its way, if you are not able to ride before it pumps then you have to wait again and see if your validation gets confirmed that we're now on a longer period wherein we should hold for the longer time. Investing in risky, whether it's with altcoins or Bitcoin but the difference with Bitcoin is we're getting more assurance that this is the center attraction of the market and it has no other way to go but to be up.

Long term? Definitely not. Short term? I mean if you can hit a coin that's about to pop or is in the middle of surging, then that's easy profit imo. Just that, it's not exactly easy to hit some coins like that to your average guy, it might be closer to a gamble than an investment at some point but hey, it is what it is. I mean a short pump and dump like that is already a sign that the coin isn't that much, probably the community just got hyped by someone or something a bit and immediately dwindled down.

For long term, just don't mind the pump and dump from the short term really. Especially in coins that are known to perform over longer periods of time.

Altcoins are generally short term projects, i have been saying this for a very long time now. Due to their pump and dump nature, you should not buy and hodl altcoins for the long term, if you do so, you'd only end up being a bagholder. If you must buy altcoins, you have to target the short term/quick profits, buy when the price is low and sell immediately you make ROI, and if you are unable to sell at that time, and the altcoin starts dumping, you had better sold it and cut your losses, instead of bagholding it. Nonetheless, you can make ROI when you invest in altcoins, but it is akin to gambling, because you can't be sure which one will pump and if it will be sustainable even if it does.

Well, there are some altcoins that are pretty bad to invest in and hold for a long time; otherwise, if the dump comes, you are going to lose a great deal. You might invest in some of the high altcoins that seem persistent and could make a profit if you hold on for a little while, but for some of the small altcoins that you feel can be very unpredictable, I guess if you cannot handle your losses, then you better not invest, but if you can risk the money, you can go ahead. About two days ago, one of my friends was around the space. He confirmed that he invested $1000 in a newly launched altcoin on the Binance exchange, and within the next 24 hours, he made a $500 profit from that token. That was a short one, and I believe he had the idea of how to follow up and sell so quickly. Who knows, if he decides to hold the coin like Bitcoin, it could just dump.

Just as you rightly said. No room yet for long term holding just quick profits for now. Everyone should manage their risk accordingly

Fast trading can be an alternative to avoid all market situations and don't forget that apart from that, you also have to have altcoins that you hold for the future if the bulls come. This means, don't just rely on one investment instrument, there are many other ways you can do it. but risk always looms at all times, everything has risk
Risks, that we know because we've sign up for whatever outcome we will face. The market is always present to distract us from out initial plans, more reason we should not go to some of us fail on triggered good entry when the market have already mapped out good chances of winning enormously from the system and opportunities to be created that will liquidate one's account without season. Investing in altcoins is one major step of stepping closer of withdrawing gigantic profits from the system, and this can only happen when one is extremely careful and does chill with him.

Everything has a risk right now including investing in altcoins but since the crypto market is looking good and the results of other projects are completely good, you are recommended to invest in one of those, especially with the kind of price right now and there are circumstances that other altcoins are not recommended for investment due to the fact that other projects cannot keep up with their competitors and they are bound to lose and have a low chance to increase the price of their coins. Nevertheless, it depends on the project if they are still active in their development and updates because if they are not, their coins are not worthy of our time and money.
Indeed, everything is full of risks, especially altcoins, but we can still minimize these risks by choosing altcoins that really have long-term prospects and for me ETH is a good choice besides BTC for the long term.

Sometimes we have to take a little courage to face risks to gain profits in altcoins, but this also depends on the person, if their mentality is not good, it is better to invest in BTC which is definitely safe for the long term to gain profits.

Its always been the case with altcoins, you never know when an altcoin will dump because even when the market is surging and there is no direct news affecting the particular altcoin still it can dump and mostly its from whales who orchestrated it for a while so they make all the reap from whatever the market condition and poor retail investors has to bear the loss.

Investing in alternative crypocurrencies has been always risky, specially if we are talking about relatively new coins. I would even feel it is risky to try to especulate using coins within the top 50.
One needs to be a very well developed sense of economical intuition so one won't get scammed in the wild and obviously scammers take advantage of the bull cycles to try to steal as much as possible from gullible investors, using all kinds of tricks.

If I decided to put some money in altcoins, I would only do so in projects which have already been time-proof, like Monero, Litecoin, Ethereum. Nothing with tokens based on food or Dogs. Those are basically shitcoins and a way to  gamble to anyone daring getting money in.
It's true what you say, I really agree with his opinion.
Because trash coins usually carry a very high risk and in my experience that is what happens.

Well said mate and everyone knows an investment in Altcoins should be something that is done on a short term base because like you have explain the easy dumping if these coins makes it very hard to actually have a long term investment in them, well that's only if you want to have an heart attack then you can actually thinking holding these coins for a long time. For me I believe any small profits that is gotten from an altcoin investment should be converted and done on a daily basis like some kind of trading.

there are a few that's been shooting up without dumping such as ETH and SOL. you just have to pick the right ones. if you are willing to hold for longer though you may still be profiting. TRON seems to rise continuously. the alt season hasn't really kicked hard since the bull run is not caused by the halving. i think this growth of price is just retracing back to the top and caused by the ETF hype.

but once the halving is here already, major coins will also shoot up even the ones you don't expect to pump. for me its safe to invest right now as long as you mean to hold for months up to its ATH.

Alts are always risky. However there are two kinds of alts lately. There are those absolute shitcoins and there are good alts which has a long history. ETH, Doge, XMR, LTC are good alts for example. These have less risk than the other shitcoins. When you think about it any investment has some risks. The more risky it is, the more potential profits (and losses) it has. If you are a risk taker go on, buy some alts. In 2017 or 2018 there was a guy that turned his $10k alt portoflio into a million USD during that bullrun but since then there weren't any big alt bull runs happened. Maybe you will get lucky like him and become the next millionaire.
Yes true, people who think that they could x100 by investing into something shitty, and getting out before everyone else will end up hurting. That logic in itself is crooked, if you KNOW that it's a terrible token, and you just want to get in and make a profit and get out before everyone else, that is a wrong move. There are people who invest into literally scams that they are aware that it's a scam.

Because they know that scams will look good before it turns out to be a scam, so they invest into scam projects who will rug pull, with the aims that they will get out before it turns out to be a scam, or before it rug pulls people. These type of moves will never be good moves, people need to be careful about what they are doing and should be careful about what they are doing. I know that it may sound or look like a good quick profit that can get you richer, and maybe some people can achieve it, but usually this is a way that people will lose their money.

You made a honest analysis and review on price action of majority of the altcoins it's like those altcoins are taking turns to pump and dump, altcoins like SOL, XRP, XTZ, ETC,EOS, DOT, LINK etc all pump at certain period thus investors that bought them a lower price would have made some reasonable profits now after selling at a higher price, the process of buying low and selling high repeated with another altcoin, though the major task for any investor now is to make research on those altcoins that are yet to pump with some feature of high volume of the coin traded daily and possibly among the top 50 altcoins on CoinMarketCap most importantly not yet overpriced.

Maybe there is a lot of money that poured in from the selling of BTC. Maybe there are people who are hedging against BTC or something and want to have people follow their position and just make quick bucks. I believe that it is not always the case but there is always going to be risk in investing in alts.
