You do not have the right time to invest, you need to choose, and the team and the project. Every month, there are several more than worthy projects. Well, 90% are either scammers or just bad projects without prospects.
I can't agree the time is also important. News of states and companies about regulations, changes in advertising and so on, prices of large crypto-currencies - all this affects the ICO market...

Have to be careful with the crackdowns by the SEC and make sure you know that you are getting into.  Alot of these ICOs are going to go away

I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? I looked at Mossland's Whitepaper and they seem ok. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!

Both BTC and ETH is really strong right now. I know that almost all the coins have low prices today. But we can take this opportunity to actually invest. With that we should be smart with our investments and really look into the coins you want to invest in. Research would really go a long way here. What i suggest to you friend will be to invest on litecoin and eth. Not so expensive as btc but has real potential for growth on both. I'm not an expert and these advices should be taken with a grain of salt

ICOs have always been there, whether the market is up or down. ICOs have been a common part of the cryptocurrency market because they are business trying to make a difference. Start up businesses that need crowd funding, so they try to market their concept, product or idea so that people would jump in it and support them by way of giving them the needed capital. ICO is one thing, but investing in Eth or BTC is another. Choose whichever is more relevant for you, and would let you achieve your goal in terms of profit margin.

If the ICO began before the big fall, and the price of tokens is fixed in the ETH, now it's very profitable to take part in such ICO. It turns out that you invest as if your ETH did not lose in price at all.

In a long-term better work old alts like Ethereum or Bitcoin (they fall now and and I do not think that someday they will grow like that like recently, but who knows). I look for profitable ICOs with good development team, unique idea and working product. Prefer with profitable affiliate program

As prices for BTC and ETH fell sharply, many investors began to panic.
I think it is the best time to invest in ICO, because there are fewer people involved in ICO, you can choose some excellent ICO projects to participate in, I recommend you to know the cardstack.
Really, when bitcoin and eth prices go down then it's a good chance to invest but at least try to avoid ICO scams. and I think investing in ico is profitable if the project succeeds.

Please always remember NOT to invest your bread and butter money, or take out loans in order to invest in ICOS. Although many times they might seem lucrative investments, ICOS are still highly unregulated and I consider them as high risk investments in my portfolio. I never invest a lot but when I do, I like to really try to read all the news about that token and what the token solves by way or problems, who is the team behind it and their credentials and go through the whitepaper with a fine tooth comb. Now that ethereum prices have fallen it might be a better time to inves tin ICOS but then again eth prices may flunk further in the red, so your guess is as good as mine. Take investing in ICOS as gambling with a margin of calculated risk.
You're right. I should only invest money that I can afford to lose. So much unexpected drastic fluctuations makes it so complicated to decide how to properly distribute my budget. Thanks for your time!

I think yes. Because now all the projects have fallen very heavily and I think that the only way to save your investments will be investing in ICO

I would also agree, that now is the time to invest. If you struggle with research, there are a few websites out there you can consult
For instance:
- crushcrypto.com
- smithandcrown.com

However, always double check and only regard the sites' verdicts as support for your own research. Also it is possible that the circumstances around an ICO change, so always stay alert to news concerning an ICO of your interest (via Telegram or Reddit groups for instance).

Good luck

In a good ICO you can always invest. If the project is good, then your investments will always bring you a good profit. Really good projects go to the market already with the X.

Investing in ICO's isn't a bad idea especially when Bitcoin and the top coin are in a dip.
Some ICO's has potentials to grow beyond our expectations in the near future. But most importantly, do your research before investing!

It's never too late to invest in ICO. Especially when ETH is trading at a very good price. Buy it at $ 500-600 and invest on projects you believe in. Good luck! Wink

Now is the time to invest in cryptocurrencies. I'm sure the cost of bitcoins will be even lower soon. So I think that now it is necessary to buy bitcoin and altcoins and hold it.
exactly we are may able to see that this currency about the bitcoin may sooner be in a high price and this is what we are waiting and too see for that there is always some possibility that we are able to earn on it.
Are there any certainties that the bitcoin is going to rise? Just because it has been going down for a while doesn't mean it will, for certain, go up, does it?

I think it is the right time to invest in the altcoins and we can make a lot of money in it if we buy the right one. There are more than  one coins that can bring you more money. If you have done enough research, you can do it.

iCo's are always popular investments because they can be directly proportional to the amount you earn at risk. If you ask how many new ico you can get out of the market and how much you can trust, it is important to collect information at this stage. Knowing the project knowing how much the market can have the market volume I think altcoin investment is more preferable
