I know and used Paypal more than 10 years and last 3 years I'm not used Paypal again. My balance about $15 was locked with reason L must verify credit card. I used my valid credit card but rejected. I don't know because I always use my credit card. After that I sure Paypal is scam.

This happens to most of the users as they always show some very shit rules on that basis they can anytime lock the users account with any valid reason and their transaction charges are also high and their payment reversal terms is also bad, that is why it is said Paypal is scam, because users are using the payment reversal for scamming other users

how can reputable company like paypal doing scam?
i do not think that Paypal is scamming because paypal is very popular and great service for online shopping and i think that there is people against of paypal and they want to spread wrong news about paypal.
This is somehow true.Paypal never scam its users but sometimes users scam each other by taking advantage of their charge back feature

how can reputable company like paypal doing scam?
i do not think that Paypal is scamming because paypal is very popular and great service for online shopping and i think that there is people against of paypal and they want to spread wrong news about paypal.
these are those people who have get locked their money at paypal without any big issue and paypal do not refund their hard earned money so in this case those people can say that yes paypal is scamming. If someone deposit their money in an account in paypal and trust on paypal for their money then paypal have to take care of them and their money.
They are just misunderstanding to use paypal if their account was lock they need to talk to the support directly in phone or skype much better.. i experience of some issue but they are said their need to verify because they want the maximum protection for our funds..
So they need some verification that you the real owner if you are just earning money already without verifying your account and get lock soon i think they are just asking for verifying so before you can use your paypal make sure that it is verified so that you will not experience somethings like that. paypal is not scam in my experience.

I would also recommend that you stay away from Paypal like all the other people on that website is saying. Paypal freezes your funds for 180 days for unknown reasons. You could always exchange your Paypal funds into Bitcoin funds in the Currency exchange board. So, if you don't want somebody disputing their payments to you, or getting your account frozen for 6 months, then go ahead and convert all your Paypal funds into Bitcoin.

Great advice! Thanks. I have never thought about this. I use PayPal, but I don't trust them in 100%. Why I should give them the opportunity to invest my money when they froze my account for 6 months.

paypal certainly will not do scamming. they are a very large company. maybe they could harm you like freeze your account or something. You just need to make contact with cs
and if your money is missing from paypal account. it could have you paypal account has been hacked, because paypal has a fairly poor security

Paypal help the scammers indirectly.

Wait the can put your funds on hold? I don't have an account yet but I'm considering making one since I got accepted into a transcribing site. Unfortunately they only pay through Paypal. Would have been nice if I would just send the payment directly to my bitcoin wallet.

Yep, they usually put the payment on hold for verification and validation purposes. Been through all those 15-day shit period in which you won't be able to use your own money because they are 'verifying' the transaction on the other party that paid you the said amount. I understand it's for security reasons, but for 2-3 weeks? That's a pain in the ass for people in the fast lane.

Yikes. That would really suck if you're receiving your salary via Paypal (ex. online only jobs). I guess this is why employers should start paying more in Bitcoins. Then we'd only use Paypal for shopping.
If employers paying their employees' salary with bitcoin then they must overcome the volatility. The only effective way for them is to exchange the fiat to bitcoin at the same time when they're going send it to their employees. But, unfortunately, if they have so many employees this thing can't be done just in few hours which is really a problem if they're going to pay their employees with bitcoin

Of course paypal is not scam, it have dumb rules but they don't scam

Well PayPal has serviced many users online and it has proven itself over the years. But their current security system that locks your fund if they detect transaction problems is not good due to their poor support system. Just this day a group in Facebook are debating that PayPal is a scam, well I am not sure of that but I have fear that possibly PayPal will just stop without us knowing since bitcoin has negative impacts on their sales.

Yes, PayPal is good and effective in many cases and serviced many users. But their is complications in their system. Many fraud cases occured, and they are not 100% successful  in solving those cases. Also their are many regulations by Country, so they are not fully funtional and hassle free for some countries. They are not scam, But it has some serious issues as well as benefits.
There is actually no scam the problem is the issue or someone are not enough of giving a real proof if someone are starting a case for refund.
They are just securing people to deal to someone that is why we have resolution case,
But even they are almost very secure  they can be still experience of wrong decision..

I really heat any kind of bank whether it was PayPal or any other virtual bank , they are so easy to hack so there is no safety using it , i got my PayPal hacked a while ago and i tried to contact their service and they didn't even respond , luckly for me i didn't have a lot on that account because i exchanged all my funds into bitcoin.

Frankly, it was your carelessness that has got your account hacked. Maybe your password wasn't secure, you used the same password as your password in other website, your pc or mobile phone has virus or keylogger in it, etc. Regardless of what was the reason, it was your fault and not the website's fault.

If Paypal accounts are easy to hack because the website's database is easy to access, then people should've stopped using Paypal already. People should be ranting all around social media and forum sites. But right now, I'm not seeing any except you.
He has wrong to contact the paypal he can call them into phone that actually you talk with their customer support..
Honestly i am halving problem also in their service but it is not the case because they are contacting me after posting a question and email them..  they can fix a soon as possible.. there is  mistake from people who are using paypal that they are also using the password to register in other website that can easily hack our paypal..

I don't think that paypal is a SCAM , But I've heard some rumors about scam issue but so far I've its working smoothly  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

It's working smoothly only in first world countries. In many countries, it is hell to just have your money back to you after getting it from a different country. I am not saying that it is ridiculous mainly coz what can be used for good, can also be used for something really bad. But the rules for making an account limited should be less negative.  Roll Eyes
I am hearing for the first time that paypal discriminate people according to developed and developing countries Cheesy i think the rules are same for everyone and people in America do get their accounts frozen so does people from third world countries if they think something is fishy.

This might not be the case, though not on the basis of developed versus developing countries. As I know it, PayPal operating in some country is required to follow local laws, and these laws obviously differ between jurisdictions. Therefore, some actions which are considered illegal in one state or country, for example, selling weed, may be considered as perfectly legit in other countries.
