I think it is only some mystake why paypal biggest payment processor wallet in the whole world should scam somebody for small amount of money and destroy own reputation that cant be.

I also believe that all these troubles are only temporary. And there was some kind of glitch in the program. This is a very serious payment system, not scammers

It's been several months since the last time I used Paypal services, and I had no major problems when using it. I don't think paypal is a scam, but I think a lot of things should be improved on the service. The main problem, according to some users, is the support, which often takes a lot of time and is not satisfactory.

Yes, PayPal not scam at all, they just have very strict verification and security process, also with their payment processor itself. Even they in the listed 10 payment processor with high volume, but bitcoin beat that, according to this https://www.quora.com/Are-the-payment-volume-statistics-that-show-Bitcoin-as-the-5th-largest-payment-network-misleading-because-they-include-speculative-trading-among-Bitcoin-owners-instead-of-payments-to-buy-actual-goods that's statistic in 2013.

Since i'm still using paypal, the problem is a factor which i have been mentioned.

Some are accusing paypal to be a scam because they might have lost their money as they have the tendency to freeze the account if they find high amount of activity and the customer care are just not that great

A few weeks back, they locked out my account. The credit card which I had used for verification got expired, and they asked me for a fresh one. I didn't wanted to give the details of my new card, and in the end I lost access to my account. Anyway, I don't use Paypal too often these days. So I have decided to stop using my account.
I also have a paypal account that is in the lock by the paypal, and it makes me disappointed. maybe paypal is not a scam, but the regulations that exist in making people become anxious to use it. especially if the money you save is limited, or your account is in the lock, I guess it could make people think that paypal is a scam
If they lock your account and the funds in it without any issue then they are really scamming the people because they know that these are their money if they cannot provide their service to anyone then they have to return them their money and after that they have to lock their paypal account.

Paypal is not a scam, but the fact  is only few are using it right now others switched to bitcoin for fast and easy transaction. They dont like paypal because of its buyer protection once its limited ,you must submit papers to identify that youre the real owner of that paypal account.

i think in out there, many people still using paypal for payment processor and yes there are people that using bitcoin and paypal both for their transaction. i am feel comfort when i am using paypal depend for using the credit card.
Paypal's transaction is faster than bitcoin in my opinion but a bit more complicated. and yeah it's really recommended for you to use Paypal when you're going to pay something through your credit card to prevent from data stealing. I guess you don't want your credit card getting misused by some criminals and you need to prevent it. other than that switching to bitcoin would be more benefitable

its faster but dispute is something a paypal user has to worry.
not to mention users who sold their accounts to which scammers can use those bought accounts as well for scamming purposes.

calling paypal ascam it would be just stupid .they just charge a lot  of fees and they just  restore their funds for 180 days whixh is not good at all .whats the use of  it if u  can transact it .i think it is  better if u sell ur bitcoins through localbitcoins so that u dont have any problem with it  .well its better  .

This is not the first time people say paypal scam, paypal had protecting you from fraud shop/people. it's back in what your problem if they has freeze your fund, ask to them for resolved it, they will help you.
if it was that easy you wont find people calling it a scam. what i heard is that their customer care do find some way or the other to come to a solution on why the funds are frozen and i have seen blogs where people complaints about their funds being frozen up to a year and not yet resolved ,which means they don't care about their customers

Well i had never faced any issue at paypal, i had confirmed my bank account as well my debit card, and i never had an issue, its wizzard soo many people having problems with paypal. Anyway paypal does provide an unique system and they are see as trusted companie, and who use and accept it does take a good advantage against others, even now with bitcoin as option just a few people will use bitcoin to purchase anything.

Many are hating that with paypal because they are reversible with their transactions. And instead of blaming those people who are abusing their system, victims are accusing them also to be scam for letting those scammers to be successful with their trades. I also like paypal's usage its just the matter of those abusers who are making their reputation bad.
Not just due to reversing transactions, PayPal is notoriously known for freezing funds when deal very frequently. My PTC business was literally killed by PayPal once they notice more number of people were buying membership with my site. In my personal opinion, they were already a scam business model.

I forgot about this with paypal and that's really ridiculous if they are able to freeze funds. For having a big sales, paypal froze your account? What kind of act is that, they must even do some investigation before doing such action like that. They are judging you without noticing you prior for having a big traffic of sales with your ptc site.

PTC business is revolving around a lot of small transactions, or should I say, microtransactions? Not surprisingly, such activity attracted attention of PayPal operators. They obviously thought of it as kind of suspicious and decided to freeze your account. Besides, what makes you think that they didn't investigate that matter before locking your account, just because they didn't warn you?

Well i think they are not scam they are just increasing the security of the account.. i have my problem before in paypal that actually have some earnings from ptc before because of do not have atm visa or master card to verified my account they lock my account until i can verify my paypal account but i have my alternative account which is verified via virtual card.. now my problem is the funds that i receive from my non verified i want to send it to my alternative account.. they got lock my account because of using 2 paypal.. but the alternative account which is verified still active and i can be still use right now for buying domains and hosting..
they are just do that because of security reason..  unlike bitcoin that honestly there is no hassle to use.  we have charge back in paypal which is good for buying product online..

The Paypal chargeback is only good when you're the buyer. If you're the seller, you have to take the risk that maybe your customer will dispute his payments. Too bad for you, you loss your earnings just because your account isn't verified. I also have an unverified paypal account but it's never been locked. I use it to receive payments before and since then I've been using it to buy stuffs online.

Was your account locked for 180 days? If so, then you can transfer your funds from your unverified account to your verified account so your money wouldn't be locked up again.
