Of course the product is the most important part of the project, this is my personal opinion about the need for the project. I think that all this will only improve the prices of tokens. The development of their products in any case will only improve the work and the prices of their project.
Yes. I find it very good when there is a good and working product. Project participants invested a good project, and you're feeling confident. From this and the project is more advanced and successful.
Product is very important for investors, because it give them more confidence to put their money there. However, there are some visionary ideas which are worth backing even before a prototype is made. For example great ideas that spin-off an existing solution or product. So for the investors, they can already have a feel or know what the product is like, then they invest to make a better version of it with a different company. But for virgin territories, it is important to have a product, even a not so great prototype can go a very long way to convincing investors.

For the ICO, it is very important because their token projects will be use as a utility token to attract more investors to support and purchase the products. If their commodities have no qualities and not attractive then for sure their projects sale will not going to success or even if they reach a hard cap for sure in the market their coins will going to be a crap.

Yes its important that an ICO has a great product as well. We invest not mainly on the tokens for profit but also on the benefits the products that we buy. The more usage , the more value it will have.
