I believe so, it is. One of the reasons why people open some icos is to be able to raise funds for their project and/or technology that they are planning to sell or make. Other than that, a product is a good indication that the ico or project is doing well and that it will soon bring in some return of investment.

Product is important as long as the product is good to use and already been tested. Product should not be rush because it will bring a negative feedback in the community and it FUDster will spread it. The product a project is offering is very important as its what it offers is what attracts investors to it, good product with good growth potential is likely to do well in the market hence attracting serious investors
Off course yes so that investors knows what they are investing for and what the project is all about that is the easy way to earn investors.
Of course because the product is what makes the projects, I don't know why you ask this question but seriously you can launch a project without a product because it is the heart of your project and product is the one that makes the project unique and different from the any other project and the product is the first thing that the investors want to buy into your project.

Yes it is very important because if you don't have any product i dont think the project will be sucessful. It is like an making a thesis and propose the product you want to do. Project based on the products. Product is very important in order for the project to succeed. Investors of course are looking for a product if they are sellable, useful or not. Having a good product is a key on the road to success.
It is the end product which really makes the difference as this is the only thing which you have in order to present it to the rest of the world. People are least concerned about the process which you followed or anything like that. The only thing which can attract tem is what you show them and how much attraction your final product has got and that you need to keep the audience interest in your mind too. 
Product is very important for investors, because it give them more confidence to put their money there. However, there are some visionary ideas which are worth backing even before a prototype is made. For example great ideas that spin-off an existing solution or product. So for the investors, they can already have a feel or know what the product is like, then they invest to make a better version of it with a different company. But for virgin territories, it is important to have a product, even a not so great prototype can go a very long way to convincing investors.

Of course it's very important for an ICO. For me I always looking for an ICO which contains some specific requirements, one of them is ICO should have at least Alpha or Demo version of product before ICO starting.Actually, I think most of ICOs out there just talk about their concepts without any product developments, if they really want to make their ICO seriously, they will not be that hurry, they should work on product first

There are too many opinion about ICO project, Some project came in this online market with his won product or some project came without product.
